Maybe she did initially leave voluntarily and met with foul play after. But I think there would be evidence of a pending meeting on her computer and/or phone. I think it would be pretty easy for LE to track all of that down. If that were the case and they were looking for someone she was meeting up with, they would have made that known to the public by now. IMO, of course.

Yes, it's set to private now. Wish I could say I didn't see that one coming.
I took screenshots of all comments and threads between her and GF for heck's sake, just in case...

I figured the psychic would see it coming that WS would be following GR's and her comments! :giggle:

BBM ^ GR strikes me as the type who would be shouting it from the rooftops if he had passed the polygraph. IMO

And he would've shouted it at the old lady he encountered lol

Wasn't included in the airtight alibi etc. post either.

"i'm speaking with his oldest daughter again tonight - who is the first to admit her mom had changed a lot in the last 9 months we'll say - and who is the first to say there was never any violence, threats, etc."

So let's start here. What are you doing questioning this child that just turned 13?

And that's a darn good question.

google earth shows a van parked right directly in front of the front door, definitely not 70 yards away. also, neighbors likely work, and GR would know their work routine.

the biggest question i would ask, as posed her by other posters, is: did he pass his polygraph?

for seasoned posters: does LE typically tell someone whether they've passed or not? if someone failed a polygraph test, they can't be arrested just on that alone, right? so, if he has passed the polygraph, like others have mentioned here, he would have let the world know, if he was told...

also, why would a grieving husband be taking to anyone about how modest they are? it all just seems bizarre.

as for why he hasn't been arrested yet, if he is in fact the perpetrator, police try to build as strong of a case as possible so that the defense isn't easily able to tear it apart.

regardless of who asked for the divorce, GR would still be responsible for child support (a third of his income), alimony (since Jennifer was the primary caregiver), health insurance, pension, etc, AND at least half of his assets in property. to me, that could be motive in this case and *has* been motive in countless cases like this.

"I know that Jennifer - as should all of you if you have been looking on her missing page site - had been changing her appearance A LOT - she had been changing A LOT - I PERSONALLY HAVE SPOKEN TO A MAN WHO SHE HAD BEEN SPEAKING WITH DAILY FOR HOURS ON END - AND WHOM HE HAD SO MUCH FALSE INFO ABOUT HER IT'S RIDICULOUS - did you all know about this?"

Where is it evident that Jennifer changed her looks ALOT, on her Missing page? And this man you spoke of? He could be anyone! How do you know what info is true and what's ridiculous about Jennifer, when you've only known GR since Christmas Eve?

Exactly. I wouldn't be defending so fiercely a person I know for two weeks and a half and not even in real life, but online. Or mostly online, right?

BBM ^ - That stood out to me too (along with a lot more that was said as well I might add ) Red flags everywhere IMO. I'm still trying to digest it all.

So, "he had asked her for a divorce months before she left, but she begged him not to do it". Very interesting.

GR wrote a thank you note for all of the kind words, messages, prayers, phone calls, etc.. It was written on his psychic's wall. He says he has an airtight alibi and has been seen on security cameras. He tells of a story where he's in local store and a woman accuses him of killing his wife. To that, he asked this woman where she lived (as a joke) and went on to say that she looked as if she saw a ghost and how great that was. Really? That's funny? He's having a laugh over this. He also said that an older man in this store said he was impressed with GF's response, and high-fived him.

I find that doubtful. Tried picturing that scenario in my head, and it just doesn't jive. JMO

BBM

Wow! Sounds Drew Peterson-ish to me. IMO, JMO

If he hired someone else, so as not to get his hands dirty, he could pass a poly.
They're not admissible, can't be held against you. But I would think that if this guy did pass a poly, he'd have announced it.

(Did you hear that he's asking for a new trial?)

Wow, I didn't catch it, but you may be onto something! He did boast about similarly. Hmmm.....

Another name came to my mind, because i'm concerned for JR's children.
Josh Powell.
I hope that LE is paying attention, because, as JR's family member mentioned to me, "He's got the kids."

Ted Bundy'ish charm switch powered to "on" at opportune times...

Genuine questions because if I don't focus on those I'm going to say some very inappropriate things.

- Was JR a person who visited/believed in psychics?

- In what way was JRs appearance changing? We've had mention of the hair colour but I would like more details.

- Any chance of the psychic joining us here? She could get verified, and if there is sleuthing to be done on a mystery man I'm sure we'd all be more than up for it.

Hey London. :seeya:

/OT Yeah, I did hear that Drew Peterson is asking for a new trial. They mentioned it earlier today on In Session.

Good point mentioning Josh Powell also. In this day and age, what Josh Powell did has to be in LE's minds whenever they're dealing with a situation with a devoted missing mom who leaves kids behind uncharacteristically, and a spouse/significant other with questionable behaviour after she goes missing.

And he didn't wait 2 days to use the find i phone app - it was just that long until it worked and he found the phone. He is smart, so he knew not to touch it, etc.

While I know that this is a very vague statement and could mean any number of things I'd like to note that the app mentioned does not take time to work. If it was not showing the phone and then suddenly did, we can assume the phone or the app was off until then, and that the time that the phone showed up on the app after not showing is when said phone, or app, was switched on.

Which doesn't make much sense to me- unless what she means is it took two days to crack her password, which I find much more believable, even if still somewhat of a stretch.

Sorry to focus on the phone so much, I just it easier to be unemotional about, unlike some other parts of the message.

I am hoping, fringes. Even if to dispel myths with evidence, she would be a great resource, IMO. I get the vibe from her that she is a very caring person.

unless there was a family account, in which case, GR wouldn't need JR's password? i'm not as tech saavy as many here, but I did read that somewhere about the Find iPhone app.

  • #579
Yeah- and I thought your idea about the family account was logical, but if that's the case then the 'time to work' line makes no sense- they could've seen where she was at any time. It's probably nothing but it's confusing- along with a lot about this!

But thank you so much Jillian, for all your info- I hope JR is found safe and gets to see how hard you worked to find her!

I'd also like to know if the psychic has verified ANY of this with LE. I honestly worry for her.
Children will say anything when their world is falling apart. It's very possible that they have been warned that if they don't confirm what their Dad is saying, he will be taken away and they will be without BOTH of their parents. That is a terrifying feeling when you are a child. Sometimes it doesn't even take much effort on the part of the parent to influence their child when they are in such an unstable situation.
As an example (just an example, lets not get OT with this, this thread isn't about me) my stepdad drove me and one of my sisters to our CPS interview, where they were questioning us about HIM abusing us. He stopped and bought us candy and a soda on the way. Even that wasn't necessary, just him driving us there was intimidating enough to keep us quiet.
