There are 2 Larrry Dilione's. Sr and Jr. I'l bet the Mercedes belongs to Sr. Also any car that James Rackover was driving probably belonged to Jeffrey Rackover.

Also, Dilione owned a 2012 Benz and Rackover owns a 2015 Benz.
The 2012 M class is an SUV.

Thanks. I wonder if it was black? .The press said it was James car, though later said it was Jeffreys Which I feel us a lie right there.

They also said "the man", who later turned out to Larry, was puthing bags in HIS car. We now have proof Larry owns a Mercedes thanks to you. Happy Holidays to everyone.

BBM

Can you please provide a link for the above? I don't think I've read that. TIA

Ah - thanks! Good point on the Sr vs Jr...

Along those same lines - Would you know if both have the roofing business? Reason I ask is the phone number associated with those VINs is shared online by LDs sister(?) to endorse L's roofing business ...

Relatives of the suspects are considered victims in WS and shouldn't be sleuthed here.

that makes sense - thanks!
I should instead say - the phone number on the VINs aligns to that of the roofing company, which could be LDs (but still wouldn't confirm a DL in any event anyway, just an observation...)

I thought I read somewhere that mg had links to the location of the florist. If max is found involved in that , he will also be charged. Something wierd about the secrecy of max.

MG's family is from Oceanport, NJ. That's his only connectionto the florist, which is also in Oceanport.

Yes, I believe they both work in the roofing business. Sr owns it and Jr works there.

Heartbreaking letter from one of Joey's friends to Mr. Rackover.
Shared on the Justice for Joey C FB page.

This letter is sleuthing someone that is not charged with anything nor is James charged with the murder. Has this author also contacted the parent's of Larry and Max? I understand their pain but no one has been charged with the murder yet. Sr rackover is also a victim.

You're obviously right. But clearly the victim's friend is speaking with his heart filled with emotion. And, his letter was posted on Facebook, not here, so it's a different set of rules. For example, Personally, I make it a point not to comment on WS on cases where I might know those involved. In early August, a young woman I knew from Queens NY, Karina Vetrano, was sexually assaulted and murdered in broad daylight. The story has made national headlines. For a second I thought about looking it up here, but I changed my mind. I'm sure it's listed on Websleuths. But I knew I wouldn't be able to handle reading commentary from people who didn't know her, the boroughs or anything about the real story, and I was also afraid my emotions would cloud my judgement and ability to be objective. That is why you can't expect this author on FB, Joeys friend, to view the crime as we do here.

Additionally, Everything you point out holds true, yes, however, the author, IMO, does make a very very good point about JRs attorney, speculation into how JR is paying for that attorney, speculation into their relationship, and distancing himself for the sake of salvaging his public persona.
Based on all the reporting and details released thus far, when this goes to trial, I'm expecting the elder Rackover to at least be called as a witness if the following does end up being true: his car was used to transport JCs body to NJ and he had some kind of contact with the suspects/ had been at the crime scene (supposedly to walk the dog) the day JCs body was brought was buried.
It's not a coincidence that the elder Rackover has carefully managed to avoid media coverage - however, his part, or lack there of in the case, is still being determined.

I think the point about not sleuthing victims isn't that other sites have to hold to that standard but that we here at WS do not bring those discussions here.

I am making that as a general statement, not specific to this particular link. When I read the letter was emotional, I knew I couldn't read it. I usually find it easy to stay disconnected from cases, but if someone gets emotional, I am affected and sometimes that is just too much. I am not making a statement on whether that particular link breaks TOS.

Sorry to hear you have lost your friend Karina. I have been following that case through WS and it is truly heartbreaking and frightening.

Everything stated in the letter has been in MSM. Additionally, the letter, itself, was in MSM. While, I agree, Jeffrey is a victim. He is somewhat involved. He purchased the apartment, his vehicle was used in transporting Joey's body, and Jimmy implicated him by stating he was with Jeff at the time of the murder. As for no one being charged with murder...IMO, that day is coming.

Quoted from thread #1

WS LIAISON:

What strikes me most, is that he was stabbed in the heart or chest area, as Chief Det. Boyce gestured and said in one of the the PC's shown in MSM, this beautiful young successful friendly soul. He was everything one would want it a son. Whomever stabbed him was attacking that, it seems to me.

I found this very interesting.Could Larry and Gemma have held Joey down while James stabbed him.

If jeffrey was interested in Joey, I could definitely see this happening.

There is still Jeffrey and James breakup at summers end and for Joey, the Hampton vacation and Porsche purchase, also at the end of the summer.

There are several posters stating Joey has been to the Sutton before.

The timing of each seems too coincidental to me..

Don't make me read it! :)

I did think of Joey over Christmas, knowing he was missed by his family at their gatherings. I hope by next Christmas, they have some answers.

The letter posted at #248 was unfortunately an indication of the writer's frustration but was an unfair attack on Rackover Sr. Let's let the evidence direct us to the guilty parties but not blame someone who at this time is just another victim.

It is very sad. I, too, thought of Joey, his family and friends. I, also, feel for the suspects' families. None of them signed up for this and it is tragic all around.
I hope the new year brings answers for Joey's loved ones. I know the pain will never diminish. :rose:

Agreed. As far as I am concerned, Jeffrey is a victim in all of this, as well. Nothing points to any wrong doing on his part.

Poster-
epiphany:

Are these dates/days screwed up? Lack of proofreading or JR's error?

<snip> Rackover, 25, the surrogate son of a prominent Manhattan jeweler, said he stayed home to watch an Ultimate Fighting Championship bout. on Nov. 13, a Saturday, and never left his E. 59th St. apartment.

<snip> He also said that after they all left, he went straight to sleep. Rackover said he hung out with his stand-in dad, and the pair watched a football game on Nov. 14.

http://www.nydailynews.com/new-york/...icle-1.2881439

Nov 12 was a Saturday

The 14th was a Monday

Can't imagine James' attorney thought it was a good idea to allow NYND to interview him, but who knows...

I noticed this in other report also.

One report said the footage is of James on Monday with the suitcases and others say duffel bag. They are two very diffetent things.imo

As I diligently peruse thread #1 I'm wondering where some of those great posters went.

Also, I've been thinking about the suitcases vs duffel bag statements. I honestly believe they may use footage of James gingerly tossing, either or,the suitcases or duffel, one handedly, into the trunk for a jaunt in the Hamptons and expect us to buy that as the burial night.

We will see..I wouldn't buy it..moo

I'm trying to understand...who do you mean by "they"?
