Persons, places to things I feel don't exist or never happened.

The 3 girls and friends from Connecticut. I feel Joey may have gone out alone to the Gilded Lily. I feel this because of the bar change, the added speculation of the sexual advance made without proof and no one has heard hide nor hair of any of these people since. I feel this conjecture was in part to make Pat C feel better.

I also feel there was never a 911 call, otherwise why didn't the police show up. I feel this was an effort to not admit to having the 2 suspects caught red handed in basement adjusting the film and dragging the bags.

I feel no one ever asked about how long they keep the tapes. I also feel no luggage cart, suitcases or duffel bags were used. This was an attempt to put blame on James and use old footage of him packing for vacation.

I feel Joey was dismembered and his legs were burned. He was not in a suit case. The sheets were at the burial spot yet brought to The Sutton while they had news crews to film their "discovery" I don't feel he was thrown of window, that also being an attempt shift focus from the basement footage and shift blame to James, this also being done during film crew presence. I'm sorry this is one big paragraph, I have editing issues going on.. This all just my opinion.

hello - re: your comment above... was any follow up / additional info ever posted regarding any wounds or marks on the suspects ? i had only read the following:

@TeenaNJ, Thank you for reminding me about this, that the Assistant DA asked for pictures of JR to see if he had any injuries. I don't THINK there have been any other reports addressing this since that article? Unless someone else has found something I haven't seen?

However, It doesn't necessarily mean nothing was found... it's possible that injuries were found on one or more suspects, but that info wasn't released to the public..

the suspects have no injuries. That's a pretty big deal. (Unless, that info was never released into the media, for some reason? Just throwing that possibility out there, who knows?)

Thanks for posting these links. Also, important to remember that MSM will post inaccurate info at the start and throughout the investigation, as, NYPD is not giving them much info or facts. I find this more so with NY police depts than others. We will find many tidbits changing from one article/report to the next.

That's a good point... Does anyone think the elder Rackover's celebrity status has anything to do with that? in other words, the fierce concern for invasion of privacy. The more well known one or more of the players are in a particular case, the more protective the details are, causing discrepancies in the information that is released? (I used the term "players" loosely since I'm making a general statement in which the individuals involved could be suspect, victim, POI, etc. and I'm not insinuating the elder Rackover's involvement one way or another).

To my knowledge there is no cover up nor has there been any other talk about it but here by a couple posters.

The particular poster your quoting seems to be just stating what they believed happened.

IMO and going off of the facts provided I don't believe there to be a cover up but hey maybe I'm wrong [emoji6]

My hunch is that when Bo Dietl, a friend of the elder JR, gave information to the press at the very beginning of the case, it was sort of a deal with the press - in that he said, I'll give you this information now and then please leave the guy (elder JR) alone. That is only a hunch, not based on anything except my own speculation.

I don't think it was an "official" deal, just a gentlemanly agreement to keep the elder JR out of negative light and to protect his privacy.

It stuck out to me that Dietl would talk to the press about a friend and do so very quickly followed by silence, but it makes sense if he was tossing the press some crumbs to print with the hope they would then back off....at least until trial. Dietl is very familiar with how media works, and I think he was working it. And, I think he worked it well.

This is JMO, but here's my take on some of these issues that seem to be not making sense. I'm basing my theory on the fact that I live in Sutton Place, in a building similar to The Grand Sutton, which is exactly 3 blocks away from it. Let me begin with how shareholders and building staff interact with each other. First, let me address LD & JR adjusting the cameras. In buildings such as The Grand Sutton in Manhattan with a full building staff, the staff members get to know the behaviors and habits of the residents. It has been reported in MSM that JR & his friends used cocaine and drank alcohol, so the staff may have been used to his erratic behavior. Adjusting a security camera doesn't warrant a 911 call. Typically, the protocol would be to let the board or bldg management address these issues. What they would probably do is send him a letter that would be kept on file. Manhattan keeps track of problems residents have with the building management and this in turn affects their ability to rent or purchase another place once they leave that building. For example, if a renter sues the building mgmt and tries to rent another apt in a different bldg, the potentially new landlord will see this and will more than likely not rent to the person who sued his or her last building.

Moving on the possible sexual motive, it's just my opinion, but I don't think this was really the reason why Joey was killed. Both JR and LD are very handsome men who have money (or at least appear to). In Manhattan, if you look good and have money, you can find someone to fulfill your amorous desires. What I think happened is just a night of alcohol & drug induced debauchery. Everyone in the group was out drinking all night and continued to party at 7:00am. That fact alone to me suggests cocaine. As I said, I live in the neighborhood and i can tell you many people use cocaine in these upscale buildings. Cocaine + alcohol + lack of sleep + a bunch of guys who may have had elevated testosterone levels due to steroid use (that was suggested in MSM)= a lot of senseless aggression that led to this horrible murder. I don't think sex played too much of a part in this. besides, when men are up drinking & down coke all night, (trying to put this delicately lol) they tend to have problems in the sexual performance area.

I know the suitcase/duffle bag thing is really bothering you. This is what I think happened with that. Keep in mind that in a building in Manhattan someone always sees what you're doing. We may not confront you with what we know, but personal business gets around. For example, I know what my neighbors are up to, even though I may not know their names. I know who does drugs, has extra marital affairs, and illegally puts their apps up on air bnb. Although we may not speak to each other or know each other's names, Manhattanites living in the same building come face to face with each other every day. That being said, regardless of who actually did the stabbing, these guys were faced with having Joey's dead body in the apt & they needed to get it out. It's MOO that they thought they could put him in a suitcase and take him out that way, so they called for the luggage cart. Joey was a big guy & probably couldn't fit into a hard cover suitcase. I believe they were able to fit him into a duffle bag. Duffle bags are generally made of soft material and have an unstructured appearance. I think they put the duffle bag, with Joey in it on the cart and realized that through the soft fabric, one could make out the shape of body parts, like the head, or bent knees, elbows, and the like. This is how the bodily fluid transferred onto the cart which was detected by the dogs. They didn't want the doormen to to suspect there was a body in the bag, so they dropped the bag with Joey in it out the window. I know, the next question is why didn't anyone see the bag being dropped? 59th St between 1st & Sutton is a quiet area and by no means as crowded as Times Square. So, I believe it is possible that they were able to get the body out of the apt in this manner.

The one thing that still baffles me is why Joey went back to the apartment late at night... These girls all left... Why would a grown man go back to a strange apartment in the morning AFTER women have left ( I am assuming beautiful women).. I would think that if its decided you are not hooking up with any of these girls that you left the bar with to an apartment, you would just go home... Unless Joey knew Max or Larry previously, I would think you don't stay at a random apartment filled with dudes you just met the first time... You say thank you and take off in an Uber, Taxi, Train, whatever back to Stamford... or maybe you have friends in Hoboken or NYC you call and ask to crash... Anyhow my opinion is that this had to do with drugs... I have been in the party scene as well and know that after partys in the NYC scene almost ALWAYS involve drugs and more specifically cocaine... I think Joey went back there to get cocaine and was sold bad coke and then wanted his money back and a fight ensued... The details that are sketchy to me are as follows:
1- Why were there no marks on the other 3 gentlemen? No way Joey wouldnt put up a fight without them getting marks?
2- Why did they wait until the night time (at least 12 hours after) to finally bring him to NJ? What the heck was going on prior? Were they hiding this kid's body somewhere?
3- I still doubt Jeff Rackover had nothing to do with this... I am also not in shock that really noone is talking... It seems like all of these attorneys have everyone muzzled...
4- I doubt Jeff Rackover is done with James... I think he is doing that for show to avoid being known as a sugar daddy (IMO).. How else could James afford Maurice Sercarz? But then again how would you afford Sercarz and not be able to post someone's bail? Why is James still in custody and the others not?
5- This is the one that boggles my mind the most... WHO WERE THE GIRLS??? Why hasn't anyone stepped up and made any statements amongst these females???

I'm not certain if NYS does gag orders on potential trial witnesses and I can't find anything with a solid answer online but that could explain why no one has come forward. They may legally not be allowed to do so. Just a thought.

Not sure if this has been mentioned before but there is a picture of Joey from the night in question -earlier on when he is out with his own friends- on instagram if you look at pictures he has been tagged in. The date matches although I'm not sure what club it is in and then that poster posted something a few days later basically a tribute to Joey saying he can't believe that's how the night wound up.

Do we know if the girls were strangers or friends with any of the suspects? I believe Max told the police they were at 1OAK and then were on the way to gilded lily but there was a fight there so went directly to James place instead. Not sure if that matters but I guess it's possible the girls could be strangers to hook up with as the guys could be bi. It seems at least James has dated both genders. Not sure of the others. Or the girls could have just been friends that wanted to keep drinking and do drugs (maybe for free ) in my opinion. Keeping the party going.

The police seemed to leak a possible sexual angle motive and that there was a presence of drugs from the start but haven't heard much lately.

IMO the only coverup is that LE knows more than that has been released at this time and will use it later against the suspects. Is it possible there at details they don't want to release out of respect for the victims family.

You are right... I have a lot of mutual friends with Joey as well.. One girl in particular posted a video with her and him shopping at a supermarket.. There were also numerous pics of him and her at clubs kissing and what not... Anyhow maybe he used instagram as more of a dedicated to his bros... Lets take the gay angle out of this then...

Anyhow, until we hear one of these females talk we can't make any assumptions... For all we know Joey went to Gilded Lilly and Max and Larry texted/called him and asked him to come to James' place for an after hours party... However alot of reports do say Joey entered the apartment with ladies.. Do we know if the ladies were originally with Max and Larry and they all waited for him outside of James' apartment to enter the building together? Highly unlikely... I really think the girls have to be of interest IF and only IF it is correct that Larry and Max were originally at 1 OAK and then met Joey and the girls from Gilded Lilly at James' apartment... The story about Max and Larry only going to 1 OAK doesnt add up to me... Max to me seems like a little sneak... I think he knows more than meets the eye... Also didnt Larry say we took Joey and buried him??? How would he know to call him that if he didnt know him?? Wouldnt he say Joe or Joseph or Mr. Comunale??? Anyhow back to Max... He claimed he didnt feel comfortable sleeping in pants.. Thats BS... You are hammered.. Its late... You take your shoes off and jacket and pass you out.. No need to take your clothes off and borrow someone else's when you are leaving early.. Also, didnt Max come from money anyways?? Why is he staying and taking the PATH? Whenever I party in the city and party at someones place the last thing I want to do is stay at my friends house.. I would either stay with a chick or take an UBER home...
