GUILTY NY - Kenneth White, 5, Berne, 18 Dec 2014

  • #321
I believe Brenda is definitely Tiffany's bio-Mom.

I saw that too on that FB page! What's confusing is, the Sheriff says the twins are 5 and the younger girl sibling is 4. They're not triplets so I'm assuming Kenneth and his twin are really 5.
That "family member" sure likes to be in the spotlight, no?
(I know that sounds harsh, but if you have seen all the stuff she has posted over the last 24 hours, you'd know exactly what I mean)

I dunno..she seems ok to me...a bit distraught. At the beginning she was praying for him to be returned and even tagged the mother, the aunt and even TVI. I assume she also had no idea this could happen.

However, there is a another family member (JW) from the dad's side who has been extremely vocal about the whole thing and has even stated he'd take the girls. He is angry. Sounds like an uncle. But where is his brother/Kenny's dad?

Kenny's bio dad was briefly taken to the hospital, was he not? I swear I read in an article he felt like he was going to have a heart attack when he heard his son had been "kidnapped." He may not be vocal on FB because some people hate FB (especially men).

Kenny's uncle is on FB with some (not unsurprising) scathing remarks. Someone has commented on his wall that the mother CW, has had 10 children in total removed from her care. Mods, delete if this is breaking rules please.

If he was taken to the hospital for a suspected heart attack, it may have been a panic attack and he may be sedated. Some people can function on anxiety meds, but some people, especially people new to them, end up sleeping for the first few days/doses.

Yeah, that was on one of the websites last night but the article I was reading isn't there any more; it was overwritten by the updated articles today :p I presumed he was speaking metaphorically because shortly after that he was in a MA state police car being escorted to New York.

He isn't listed as friends with anyone else in the family, so probably not. There seems to be a lot of finger pointing going on all over the place. Apparently there were a total of 10 siblings from the same mother. The first 5 were taken away and eventually adopted. They were from the man whose wife is discussing it. But my question is, why didn't her husband step up to the plate - they were his kids too. Maybe he left her high and dry and she couldn't care for them on her own? Just saying. Then the family of JW are pointing fingers as well - why didn't he care for his 3 children? I have no idea what the whole story is here, but it is just seriously sad all the way around. I have a feeling this is going to get uglier.

You look at his facebook and he really loves his kids. Lots of pics of him doing things with them and saying how he wants to see them and wishing them happy birthday in August, etc. It really breaks my heart. I don't know why they where with the other family but sometimes the state doesn't always make the best decisions in regards to where a child is better off.

Sheriff says 19 year old was only alone with 5 year old & his two sisters for 30 minutes during which they believe she killed #KennethWhite

No doubt she deserves to be punished if not legally insane.
However suspect here almost juvenile herself, makes me wonder if she had suffered from serious abuse, mistreatment.

Sometimes monsters are born, sometimes indeed they are made.

Rip poor boy.

I know plenty of people who were abused as children. Most of them go on to become excellent parents or even child advocates. There is no excuse for strangling a five year old child you've been in charge of for 30 minutes.

It is my understanding that CW and JW have 5 children together. 2 live with him and 3 lived with the Aunt
On CW's fb pg she says in July that he left 6 months before.
Thanks - so he was good with CW (mom) in August and was in a new relationship by March. He apparently has older kids as well that appear to be in his life. He says he missed his babies. The twins bdays are apparently August 22nd.

Odd how this sort of parallels little Malik Drummond's case. Seperated parents, bio-parents without custody of LOTS of kids, live-in boyfriends, girlfriends, and a precious twin boy taken from his twin sister :(

It's pretty hard to ignore the absence of the solid, dedicated family in cases like this. I became a mother at 18 and while very young, it hit me square between the eyes the moment I laid eyes on her: KIDS COME FIRST. They come before lifestyle, before boyfriends or girlfriends, partying, etc. They even get the groceries first if there's just enough for them (and sometimes when you're young and single and struggling, that's all there is).

I know this wont be the last case like this I follow on here but boy oh boy does it tick me off when I see a broken, twisted up family where the kids are just sort of pawned off here or there, then one goes missing. When you become a parent you put your stuff aside and THAT kid comes first. You work your butt off, you go without, you protect them and you keep them safe. That's your role when you bring these babies into this world.

Sorry, just had to vent a little.

There's also a Ken VA in his 60's who may be the father of the Ken VA who goes with Brenda VA, and a Ken VA in his 50's who appears to be unrelated, and a dozen other Ken VA's all around the country, some of whom may be related to the VA's of Berne NY. Without a birth date, I can't begin to straighten them out :p

Here's his *prison* page, not absolutely postive but it seems as though this may be him?

Ok to vent, ontariomom, and you are very right. Hard to ignore the family issues. My prayer is that this little boy's tragic death will result in a better life for his brothers and sisters, at the very least. (And I, too, was a young mom and by the grace of God realized my kids came first! It's called "sacrifice".
