I was in Home Depot yesterday and they sell burlap, which was on a roller, cut to size.

Some articles say they were wrapped in burlap, so which is it, burlap bags or what. :banghead:

Agree with you. I have seen both ways described in MSM. Obviously, may not want to give the specifics of the burlap. Are they put into large burlap bags? Or is he tightly wrapping the remains in burlap-like a poster once suggested, packaging them? The burlap is an important clue, IMO.

If the latter, it could be burlap from a coffee company that sends his coffee bean fix each month. Comes in burlap sack. Even can order free burlap sacks from some of these coffee companies, if you're a member---but I don't know if those would be large enough. So, I'm curious too as to whether or not the remains are placed inside of a burlap sack, or are the remains simply tightly wrapped or bundled in burlap material?

Sources with knowledge of the case say a preliminary analysis of the skull and vertebra suggests they are of a woman. The other set of human bones was found stuffed in a black plastic bag.

Sources with knowledge of the case say one of those victims was a child, perhaps no older than 5, discovered near the remains of an adult. The child was found wrapped in a blanket.

Another discovery consisted of a human head in a plastic bag, while a third set of remains showed signs of dismemberment.

One source also said the four women found in December were strangled, and that one had an item around her neck.

No it wasn't I sure that call has not been release. If it was someone might be able to recognize the voice.

IMO that was wrong for NG show to do that. there should be something at bottom saying it not original call :banghead:

I don't think it was either..The man's voice was familiar to me as in I've heard it before in a similar scenario probably on NG..It had that same over-the-top tone to it.

I find it hard to fathom there's 2 SKs dumping bodies in the same exact area but from reading this I can't help but lean in that direction.

I commented on this before, but a few people were wondering why LE hasn't been able to track this guy from his computer usage.

I think that he used the disposable phones for going on craigslist and calling the girls. On a lot of those ads for escorts, the prostitutes just put a direct number on it so the john doesn't have to go through craigslist at all. So I seriously doubt that this guy needed to email the girl through the website, I'm sure all he had to go was call her on on his disposable phone and set up the date.

LE has pretty much confirmed as much, by hinting that he was using disposable phones.

I'm sure even if he had contacted them through craigslist, it would have been done using the internet feature with the disposable phone.

And I would imagine, he just bought a new phone each time he picked up another woman. Pretty much untraceable. He could have purchased them anonymously from a little corner store, which usually isn't going to keep video recordings of their traffic for any real length of time.

This guy is no dummy. Way before even setting up a date with these women, he was planning it out in detail. He definitely wasn't stupid enough to use a cell-phone attached to his name, or a computer that was inside his home. Everything was planned in advance, or otherwise he would have been caught pretty much immediately, because I'm sure that these things were one of the first things that LE looked into.

I also think he called Melissa B's sister from the busiest Manhattan areas, not because he made a special trip to Manhattan, but because he likely works in Manhattan or NYC (perhaps, The Bronx)-can't recall the exact quote, but the calls were made at the end of the day. He's either on his way home-to the Island, or he knows the Island from having spent many a summer out there either growing up or when he came of age-fishing, boating, beaches, house shares, etc.

Wasn't it also noted he called from Massapequa on Long Island? TIA

I'm not sure what significance the truck really has unless the SK was searching out spots to later dump the body (s)..Surely he wasn't in the 'act' in broad daylight..Btw! Do we know where that spot is & if any victims were found there?

IMO, we seem to be seeing this lately because of the advancement in DNA technology, forensics, etc. Seems like some of these murderers think they have a better chance of beating the forensics, technology, LE, etc. by resorting to this obscene desecration, though they may not have done so in earlier times. Again, an example of adaptation by the SK.

Just read something posted (forgive can't find the link at the moment) that reported the new cluster of bodies included the child, teens and adults and of both sexes. If it's credible and true, this changes things significantly.

Also, I posted earlier but I think the keys to finding him include:

1. SG, the mystery surrounding her last moments and night. I believe police are still looking hard at all people involved, but need hard, physical evidence because they know they may only get one shot at an interview.

2. Burlap-Many on here have speculated and proposed thoughtful and insightful ideas about where the burlap comes from and how he gets it. I think it can be a very useful way to trace him if they can figure it all out.

3. The way outcall services work is, you find the ad on CL, call the girl and say you want an hour or 2 hours etc.. then she gives you a time she'll be there, a price, and you give her your address. She will then usually be accompanied by a driver and will call once she is near the house. The careful girls will circle the block and house checking for law enforcement or anything else that is amiss. The driver will wait in the car, usually not in front of the house though to not draw suspicion. Maybe a parking lot, gas stattion etc. He is obviously well versed in how the system works, I'm betting a regular customer before he started killing. And why does he pick out girls from NYC or NJ? Avoiding local girls?

I've thought about a trucker too. My son owns a seafood biz and has a refrigerated truck. He hauls seafood from NC to Gulf coast states. He is a college graduate and good looking guy.(proud mama here) I asked him and he told me that the clams and oysters are sold wholesale in burlap sacks.

I thought it was interesting and certainly a possibility considering the areas the victims have been found that someone in the seafood industry who hauls fish could be involved.

This would fit. A refrigerated truck full of fish smell to preserve the bodies until he dumps them. He probably would pick up the girls and store the bodies AFTER he completed his deliveries and had time for fun during his travels in the interim. Yuck just thinking about it makes me queasy!

Now I am going back to find the pic of that truck that was captured on a map parked on Ocean pky!! It is an odd looking truck. could it be a refrigerated truck? I know the first truck my son bought for his biz was actually a refrigerated chicken truck....a 'short truck'. I know when I saw that pic my first impression was that it looke like an ice cream truck!

Yeah, it most likely isn't related to the case at all, but it was just a strange coincidence of it being right there.

For one thing, the SK would need to put the bodies somewhere in his vehicle before dumping them. He would also need to be able to back into the off-road site where the bodies were mostly found.

So what better vehicle to do something like that, than a big 4 door heavy duty truck, with a camper on the back?

It very well probably doesn't have anything to do with anything. But, I could really see the SK driving a vehicle just like that to do the deed.

There's that photo of children racing in burlap sacks/bags in the john's gated community during some kind of 'fun day'..That's just way too much of a coincidence. imo

I believe LE was sent the link & surely have or will investigate where they came from..I doubt we'll ever hear anything about it until the SK is caught tho.

One other body that was found in almost the same area also belongs to a sex worker who reportedly advertised on Craiglist too.
The succeeding corpses did not have anything to do with the two sex workers. One was a toddler, others were a mix of teens and adults of different sexes.
