Father: Son is still missing A W - year - old man who disappeared Jan. 13 remained missing Sunday, his father said. Mark Kommel was last seen at about 8 pm. Jan, 13. when he walked out of 31 S. Clinton St. without. coat or money. .The missing man is described as 5 foot, 4 Inches tall, weighing 120 pounds. Hit father. Herbert, said his son has an unusual head movement that resembles a tick.' "II keeps him holding his hand to his head In an effort to control It." the father said. The father Came to Poughkeepsie on Saturday from the family home on Long Island in an effort to find clues in his son's disappearance. Mark Kommel is a former patient of the Hudson River Psychiatric Center who had been going to the Dutchess County Mental Health Clinic every weekday. He has lived in Poughkeepsie about eight years. Mark was last seen on 01/13/1985 around 14:45 hours when officers dropped him off at facility in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was later seen walking away from this facility not to be seen again. It was learned he was evicted from his apartment about a week prior. Upon his disappearance, it was learned his belongings were still at the apartment building. He was known to frequent Vassar Temple, and he was last seen there on 01/11/1985.
