Also, the mysterious run-away play was not uncommon in 1975. She could have met a disastrous fate running away from everyone. She could have killed herself. Without knowing anything about the character of the fiancé, I won't speculate on whether or not he was capable of a heinous murder and cover-up.
IMO -Your characterization of him cast him as an uneducated moron. Do you know him? What is your interest in pursuing this theory?
We are constrained as to where we can go with this on WS. I know if I had nothing to do with a tragedy like this and I was being implicated for murdering my fiancé 38 years ago, I would be lining up the lawyers....
