I don't believe BSR for a minute believed Brandon the father. During Interrogation #1, she told both LE and her dad that the father was Tre. Tre corroborated BSR's account that they had unprotected sex (the second time they were intimate).
Agree, but I don't think it's as clear that she knew this before April.

IMO she knew for certain that Brandon was not the father once the doctor told her how far along she was. I agree that months later during the interrogation she knew and said Tre was the father. I'm referring to before she went to the doctor the first time.

It really doesn't make any difference except if she thought she wasn't as far along in her pregnancy, she might've been counting on getting an abortion set up once she went to the doctor.

I agree, but I think I have a different reaction; I think that sounds ridiculous enough that it was a lie. I think she was feeding her mother stuff like that to make her happy and proud. There are plenty of weight-obsessed teenagers out there, obviously, but a whole class that supports her disordered behavior enough to cheer? A teacher who glorifies weight loss, especially an alarming amount in a short time? I'm not saying it's impossible, I just don't believe it happened the way she described.
I don’t believe it happened. Teachers and school personnel are supposed to be supportive of all shapes and sizes. I am sure there would be some in the class who were overweight, how would they feel if the teacher and class applauded her weight loss? Has anyone else verified that this actually happened?

From CourtTV
Cross of Dr White, admits he did not review all of Skylar’s police interviews before he wrote his report.

Not if the sole reason you're going through all of this alone is because you're terrified to tell them.

Those texts messages to her mother did not indicate she was terrified of her. Jmo

These are not the words of a parent telling a teenaged daughter that she would be supportive of an unplanned pregnancy.

4/25 (a few days before that gynecology appt.to get birth control pills when Skyler was saying she was scared and didn't want to go):
'U r doing adult actions u do not want to get pregnant. Then there is no college cause will have to work to feed ur baby. No joke. Who will raise it'

5/1 (after Kim saw the message from the gynecology office that prescription should be discontinued because patient is pregnant):
'Ur life could potentially be over'

The scared little girl act she was trying to pull was all an act when you read her texts to her mother. Jmo

IMO she was trying to get some attention and approval from her mother about her weight and having her stomach back.

Does a supportive mother tell her daughter her life will be "over" if she has an unplanned baby? Does she mention anything about the possibility of marriage or mention a father aiding at all? No, she tells her no college and you will have to work and care for your baby - no, not so supportive at all. Oh, you bet Skylar was afraid of what her mother thought.

Did I hear this question by the prosecutor about the femur length correctly? How would the femur length change from the time the baby was born to the time the bone was recovered and measured? The bone wouldn't shrink or grow after death. The only change would be the tissue surrounding it would be gone. Dr White strikes me as a very conscientious and deliberate witness trying to answer her convoluted questions.

I don't know is it possible the bone either swelled or dried out after she buried the baby. jmo

Are these comments so horrifically different from what a Mother might say to her sexually active daughter to encourage her to keep her Drs appointment and get on birth control? They are in context with reassurance about the exam, the Doctor, and that Mom would be there to support her.

She is explaining that unprotected sex can have very negative consequences. And isn’t that the truth! What should Mom say...well, don’t go then to the Dr., honey. If you get pregnant, Daddy and I will raise the baby, take financial responsibility and you can cheerlead, go to college, date frat boys and nothing in your life will change at all, Sweetie.

If I saw texts like this in any other circumstance, if there was no dead baby, I’d not assume the Mother was a monster.

From last night's MSM - but don't recall 'terrified of her.'

'You're scaring me,' Brooke Skylar Richardson tells mom in text after pregnancy revealed
Sept 9, 2019

“You’re scaring me.”

That’s what Richardson told her mom in a text message after her OB-GYN sent an email indicating she was pregnant. Richardson told her mother it was a mistake, and she had just gotten to school. She said she would call about it later. SBM

I didn’t hear the question but I do know that babies with short femur length have a higher incidence of premature delivery.

From the context of the other texts, I believe she was referring to her trainer at the gym. She talks about her bootcamp class. So i don't believe it was in school. JMO

If she had posted these to social media that would be cold. She is texting her mother pictures of a belly that looks like fine but much better if you know it is post birth. I doubt anyone clapped about her weight loss. I'm surprised a student or teachers never pulled her aside and asked if she was pregnant. I think she said this for her mom who was possibly more obsessed with Skylar's weight than Skylar was.

Of course, it was “scaring her.” Mom didn’t know she was saying this to a pregnant daughter...not at this point. She may have known after the “rogue” email, but at this point, she’s trying to get Skylar to do the responsible thing. She doesn’t know she’s pregnant.

But Skylar is seeing her belly move at this point...there’s life in that belly...and her Mother’s words sure do scare her...because they are too late.

Unfortunately, this is probably when she makes the decision that NO WAY is this baby going to live...and change her fun life so drastically.

I think there are lots of parents who try to figure out the balance of supporting their kids approaching adulthood without enabling them and some of KR's texts sound like they could fall in this category. "Your life will be over" does not sound particularly supportive but if Skylar did have a baby and choose to raise it I don't think it would be unsupportive parenting to tell her she needed to work and be responsible for her own child.

What I do find terrifying is that KR is a co-conspirator in her daughter's dangerous eating disorder. The damage that her ED behaviors have wreaked on her developing adolescent body and brain are no joke. An overdose of laxatives could literally kill her, and KR is pushing them on her so she won't embarrass her with the neighbors or whoever they go to Florida with. These texts combined with KR's quotes about how hard it was for her to watch her kid be afraid of chewing gum prove she is a liar too.

For the record, BSR looks like death warmed over in court, probably close to her lowest weight ever. I hope KR isn't thrilled by this, but I bet she is.
