She received plenty of medical help from her parents.

Skylar Richardson: Life becomes tabloid nightmare for family

A few years ago, just weeks before her 16th birthday, Skylar nearly passed out at a cheerleading competition.

This information was part of a 6-inch medical file on Skylar’s eating disorders the Richardsons showed The Enquirer. And it was part of the reason her family says no one said anything to Skylar when she gained weight in the spring of 2017.

“If she had come to me and said she was pregnant, I would have said, ‘OK, not exactly in the cards, but we will deal with it.’ That would have been easier to deal with than this eating disorder,” Kim said. “I can’t describe it; when your child won’t eat a piece of gum or she is worried about toothpaste and you can’t do anything about it.”

Skylar sees three different counselors and still struggles with eating disorders. She is 5-foot-1, and her weight has fluctuated from 90 to 140 pounds. Her family says she currently weighs 96 pounds, but doctors want her at 100.

Whether or not you believe her, she did answer this question. She didn't know she was about to give birth when she went into the bathroom. She didn't have a plan. She thought she had weeks more to figure out what to do. The only choice we know with certainty she made that night was not to ask for help after she delivered her baby.

Per the text messages, she had sex in August and for sure knew she was pregnant in April.

Witness Saylor: On July 22, Skylar asked Saylor if he will help her clean her room. Says he helped pick up trash, move things, and "move the bed."

She gave birth in her bedroom

I don't think people are really listening to the testimony. I caught that also when the defense asked the detective.

Where are you getting that from?

The detective told the defense Skylar told Mrs. Boyce that she gave birth in her bedroom.

Skylar's boyfriend testify that Skylar asked him to help move the bed and to clean her room

In his opening statement, the Prosecutor states that Skylar asked her Mother to make the Doctors appt...not the other way around. So she “confides” in her Mother that she and her BF are intimate and she needs birth control. Mother helps her and makes appt...even takes her.

She’s not afraid to confide in her Mother here. She’s a smooth little liar about the real reason, but has Mom fooled into facilitating an appointment she needs to deal with this pesky pregnancy. The fact that she could ask her Mother for help with contraception and receive that help, belies to me this “Helpless Daughter/Uncaring Mother scenario.

And a SIX inch file on the help they tried to get her! But it’s all THEIR fault and this daughter is an angel.

I'm not sure why giving birth in her room would suggest that she killed the baby but, in any event, the detective's testimony as to what Skylar allegedly told Boyce is hearsay, so doesn't go far with me. Did Boyce testify to that?

Nor do I find the fact that she cleaned her room and moved her bed to be persuasive.

The judge made an exception in this case.
Because she lied to police and told them she gave birth in the bathroom.

She was trying to cover up the blood stain by moving her bed a little.

So which is the truth? Was it the bedroom or the bathroom? I am truly confused

The "blood stain " on the carpet does not seem anywhere large enough for a birth to cause

RICHARDSON: Warren Co. Sheriffs Det. Christopher Wong is now on stand after a short break - he does digital forensics (aka texts, search history, etc). Prosecutors have said Skylar searched some version of "how to get rid of a baby" - @WCPO

I say it could be both.
