IF someone were hiding Elaina all this time, I have NO doubt they would be charged. It isn't as if anyone would NOT know the police and searchers have been looking for this child for almost a month!

Unfortunately, I don't think this is the case anyway. IMO

Generally, because there is no custody order, a parent can take a child out of the home without asking. If you are married, you have equal rights to your kids. (Unless there is some sort of protective order)

No, she hasn't, she's said she does not know where the baby was at, what you need to do is go to Federal street and ask those people where she's at, they know where she's at, it's not fair that those people are out partying they should be in jail.

No. From what I've read, they're still married, so they both have custody.

Would she however face charges of some sort, like the obstruction of justice, if she knew they were looking for Elaina and she didn't produce her to confirm her well being? I would hope so.

How ironic. Like I said earlier I want to believe her, it just seems so many tangled up one way or another and I need proof first. I, too, thought they could confirm with the food stamp card but if you think about it you could send someone out with your card to pick up the purchase for you, so just like texting you never really know unless you see it for yourself. Angela, SK and family leave me very non trusting of everything.

ETA: From what I've read and seen about RS it just makes me wonder if he's trying to round people up to convince LE and everyone that it wasn't his daughter that was involved in the disappearance of Elaina.

However, in this situation, with it being national news that this child is being searched for by LE and others, it is no doubt to me that IF someone is keeping the child they would be charged with something. Possibly obstruction of justice or something like that since it would be absolutely unbelievable that they wouldn't know LE is searching for Elaina.

As I said though, unfortunately, I don't think anyone keeping her.
