introducing all those in the investigation

cannot talk a lot of things

takes questions

cannot comment that SK gave info that led to remains

says the info led them to 704 federal

cannot comment on how long remains there

no search in garage but one done on house

info yesterday led to garage

the box was up in the rafters up high in the garage near boxes of trash on a shelf. cannot describe the box further

I love the way they later switched to it was searched, i believe the first man that it wasn't or was searched desultorily. The place should have been taken apart ande Justice for Neveah said one of their dogs got a hit on the garage, they called it in and nothing happened. now LE is saying they don't recall the tip.

I would be melting with anger right now if I were the family (and grief)

I wonder if they did not find her because she was in the rafters? I wonder what happened ? I wonder if SK did something to her and mother covered up to perserve her having a place to stay and not be homeless again.
Hard for me to believe would risk going to jail for something mother did to baby. I wouldn't.

I was watching it on HLN and they were showing pictures of Elaina as a baby and toddler. Did anyone else notice that as a baby she was all smiles and as she grew older she had such a sad look in her eyes and not smiling much?

  • #544
Didn't a gal that worked at the convenience store say she saw AS with baby E on that Sunday morning?

  • #545
LE said that they DID search, but were looking for a "missing" child....I suspect that because the box was in the rafters, they assumed a child couldn't get up there. DUMB JMO

You would think that they would take any possible scenarios into consideration and investigate all possibilities. Especially after AS claimed Elaina was injured. :banghead:

so so sad :(

Angela's stepfather claims he was in the garage day after baby went missing. Said the computer box was not in the garage that day.

Taylor Dungjen ‏@taylordungjen 1m
Schiewe: Angela wants to know what's going on. Says he's going to talk to her at 11:20 a.m.

Taylor Dungjen ‏@taylordungjen 29s
Schiewe: Believes Steven was solely responsible. Still says Angela was wrong for not calling 911. Claims his daughter was threatened.

I think not.

They should have ripped that King house including the garage apart day one! They better be arresting more of that<Mod Snip> family.

I agree, I think we've all assumed all along the property was searched thoroughly.

Sounds like they may have looked inside, decided it was too full of junk, and closed the door.

Sorry--I usually don't trash talk LE *at all* but the body was found in the property of a guy you've had in jail for months. There really is no excuse here. It's not like it was some completely unreasonable lead/tip by a rando psychic saying she saw Elaina in a body of water five hundred miles away or something, it was RIGHT THERE.

perhaps they did further questioning based on the tip and that is what led them there.

They don't "recall" any tip :scared::banghead:

Ground Zero NYC was pristine enough for cadaver dogs, but not a garage <Mod Snip>?

Given the condition of the house and garbage and stinky rotten food everywhere, I'm not really surprised. If you've never watched the show Hoarders, you should. That is what the inside of the house looked like and LE had to be careful where they stepped to not injure themselves during the search. So imagine how much worse their garage, they do not live in, might be .

A nightmare.

This was exactly my thoughts too SCHMAE. When the officer said that about the condition of the garage I thought 'yea, after seeing the house, how much worse is the garage?'

I am thinking an anonymous tip saying the baby was in the garage might have fixed that.

I'm not sure--a lot of Facebook commenters last night (I know, take it for what it's worth) claimed they were part of the teams that were with the dog, and that they themselves could smell decomp, and BEGGED LE to check the garage.

When I calm down a bit I may be able to see this more objectively, but right now it looks pretty f'n egregious.

This loser needs to stop talking, better yet they should throw his trash butt in the jail too. He knew that baby was dead.

I agree, they should have treated that garage like a landfill and done it inch by inch. I KNEW she was nearby, SK didn't have enough time to take her far. It just never occurred to me LE wouldn't do a thorough search especially after getting a tip but it should have been done on day 1

What ? LE just said that place was full of trash and boxes and very difficult to search for. How would RS just happen to go into that garage and notice ' one particular box' that is not there? I CALL BS ! Is he involved in this ? Wth ?

The condition of the house reminds me of the conditions found in homes of drug addicts.

I think AS did something to Elaina and SK is complicit in the cover-up. Would explain why he was observed puking. Otherwise I think AS would have made a deal. jmo

I recall FM saying that her sadness started after TJ and AS separated :(

Makes me wonder if he got tired of sitting in jail.

Schiewe: I am the one who found the diaper. No one has told him about DNA in diaper, he says.

WTF is he talking about?
