Ellen sounded really special. My heart aches for her friends. That's a great article, too. It talks about how scared she was - she knew she was being stalked. Whenever a friend came over, she made sure they locked the door right behind them. She taped her curtains closed at night. I just feel like this death could've been prevented. How terrifying for her, to have her stalker catch and kill her. My God.

Michael Strouse stalked Ellen "Ellie" Weik for eight months before he killed her, according to a grand jury indictment filed Tuesday.

Michael Strouse entered a not guilty plea Wednesday morning. He faces multiple charges in the death of Weik, whose body was found in a Liberty Township field last month.

The man accused in a 9-count indictment of murdering 23-year-old Ellen Weik after stalking her for months is expected in a Butler County courtroom Wednesday morning.

Michael Strouse will say if he wants to plead guilty or if the case will proceed with a trial date being set. He is due before a Butler County Common Pleas Court Judge at 8:30 a.m.

I may be wrong, but I am still leaning towards the more obvious answer with Katelyn. After all, the place where she was found was a huge glaring strobe to me.

The prosecution against Strouse has prepared evidence spanning 600 pages of police reports, 32 search warrants and 88 'documents and tangible evidence', according to the Journal-News.

Butler County Prosecutor Michael Gmoser said the prosecution's witness list is extensive including 54 law enforcement officers, 24 lay persons, and 20 people from companies who oversee the records kept in cellphone devices.

The evidence will include Facebook, Snapchat, Textnow and Instagram data records of Weik, Strouse, and friends, as well as cell phone reports and records from banks, Amazon, and Lyft.

I have seen a lot of scary looking perpetrators, but this one takes the cake. Wouldn't want to bump into him walking down a dark alley, that's for sure!!
