HANCOCK COUNTY — Human remains found in a sleeping bag along Interstate 75 this week south of Findlay were not related to a similar incident earlier this week in Columbus, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Crow confirmed that the remains from the I-75 case have been sent to the Lucas County coroner’s office and an autopsy was conducted on Tuesday.
Results of that autopsy haven’t been released.
A media release could come by the end of the week or early next week.
Crow also confirms that the human remains were not all together, that is, there were pieces of the body in the sleeping bag.
