Darnell Jones is facing more than a dozen charges including kidnapping, rape, gross abuse of a corpse and aggravated murder.

He was appointed two attorneys who are certified to defend a capital murder case.

During the proceedings, he was asked about his two different last names. “My birth name is Darnell Olgetree and my adopted name is Darnell Jones. But ever since I was 19, I’ve been under Ogletree,” he told the judge.
