It is possible that the Tattoo has nothing to do with the murders or the aftermath.
One only has to look at the young people of today to see that a Tattoo is sort of like jewelry.
I would like to say that this sort of thing is more common in rural America, but it is not.

Meaning how high up off of floor level would KR be when sleeping.
Looks like it could be pretty high.
How tall is AW? I think she is pretty short. Unless KR was propped up on one elbow as has been theorized.

Would it, could it, have been open, and therefore a shooter, standing on the deck, could take aim from an outside position?
I don't know anything about trailer windows. Window size, opening, could a tall thin person stand on deck, or maybe a chair from the deck, and aim?
This could explain the dog not attacking, but would not explain the door not being locked when DS went there to check.

In either case, measurements of the height of bunk bed and the height of the shooter, plus measurements of window height from deck could be helpful.

As has been said, if KR were in bed, but lifted up on one elbow, anything could be possible, and any shooter, regardless of height might be able to accomplish it.

The window theory does not easily support the "money strewn" on the bed.
Unless shooter entered after the shot and was looking for something, probably KR phone or gun. But that would mean the door was unlocked or shooter entered thru another window?
Would KR have been sleeping with several open windows?
Could a tall, thin, W person climb thru?

My point?

Wagners were too incompetent to be able to shoot through a window in the dark and hit someone in the eye.

If they shot through the window there would be multiple shots to the victim, similar to the multiple shots they fired at the other victims and those were at close range.

My view is somewhat different on it. They were avid hunters and probably pretty good shots. G4 did have his night scope, he probably could shoot someone from outside and hit them although I am not sure that is what was done.
I believe that there was an unexpected confrontation/altercation at the front door at CRsr and that is why that ballistic evidence may have been there/near there. Someone may have tried to grab their gun, knock it away, slam the door back, etc. When shooting execution style there really is no missing. They were shot that many times because they intended to shoot them that many times. That is why the muzzle marks on some. I believe there may be a reason KR was only shot once.
With their homemade brass catchers it appears that some casings escaped. That can even happen with bought ones although not that common.

They knew exactly what to do and the majority of their shots were to kill people, and make sure they could not survive... Even using the.22 caliber was likely planned. Those bullets usually do not exit and bounce around inside the skull doing more damage than passing straight through.
The only place things didn’t go as planned, in my opinion, is at CRsr’s house.

I don't think your a good shooter if you have to push the gun barrel against someone's head, you shoot through a floor, you shoot someone 9 times and others way more than necessary.

This puts you in greater jeopardy of leaving behind shell casings and bullet fragments which is what happened.


I believe "good shooters" would plan out number of shots and not allow everyone to go all commando shooting victims just however many times they feel like it, which to me, seems to be what the Wagners did.

The shots were execution style for at least 6 we know of, 5 we know were shot with JW gun, that type of shot is no mistake. You may have a plan at CRsr for execution style also but that plan has to change depending on what you encounter that you did not count on. People put the gun barrel against someone's head on purpose.

He may have been laying on his back when shot. When you would walk into a camper you would be on the person in a second or two. He may have started to wake and was shot in the easiest, quickest way possible. Still seems there could be a reason it was only one shot.

It has been said he could only lock the camper from the outside with a padlock. ---

DS- 'When I didn't hear from him I went to the camper and it was unlocked and his truck was outside and I felt there must have been something wrong.
