The judge ordered them to turn over the proffer to G4.

They have to give it to BW also, they may wait til they file for it before giving it. They are suppose to turn it over anyway. It is discovery.

JW and AW proffer together may help G4 negotiate a better plea deal more so than if he did not have them. It could help him at trial more or it could hurt him more. It just depends on what they said about his involvement. He was in the homes in some capacity but not sure what JW may have said his involvemet was while in that home/s.

JW's proffer helped AW in my opinion. Even though it had not been turned over the State said in a motion(that I posted) they verbally had told defense lawyers what it contained. That would have been by August 13th. I doubt every detail was told but I bet the main things were. With knowing that JW said she did not go and her saying she did not it helped her negotiate a better deal is my feeling. That supported her story.

I had never thought her plea woud be LWOP, but every time I said it, seemed you tried to sell me some ocean front property in the desert. ha

Yup that's me. HA. No putting that Genie back into the bottle.. lol

I am surprised but not surprised too.

Surprised the 8 murder counts were dropped on her and that ya, she skips out on LWOP. But, I hadn't thought of a 30 year sentence without parole.

Instead of LWOP it is 30WOP.

Hummm. So I didn't think the families would go for anything short of LWOP but the more I think about it the more I understand it.

Not sure I totally understand it but the families talk to the Prosecutors and Scheiderer etc... and are making the best decisions for themselves, So I'm good with it.

It's about Justice for the families and not about anything else.

Now what about the other 2, ?

I have a lot of thoughts on them but I do not have any more money for desert ocean front property..... Well maybe if its real nice.

I was surprised at the 30 years, I had thought more along the lines of 40 without parole.

Yup me too. Which is why my swamp or desert properties came up. If you believe any Wagner gets off with less than LWOP I have this "great" investment property for ya!

Ya, I can poke fun at myself.

I wonder who Angela Wagner turned evidence on to receive a 30 year sentence when she should have got life with out parole????
I would hate to be in her shoes, because the Cartel is not going to take it very well being accused of killing of 8 people two mothers lying beside their baby, covered in blood and by their self for several hours, AW will meet her match in prison.

I doubt the Cartel cares at all. They may not even mind having a reputation for doing something like this...

AW's sentence is for the next 27 years. For AW, that is essentially LWOP. I can completely see the R/M/G family being ok with that, if it lead to solving many other crimes in the community.

IMO, solving other crimes will give other family's peace and closure. I believe the R/M/G family are the kind of people that would want that.

Historically, defendants of their ilk always have a huge bullseye on their backs. Murdering nursing mothers and a teen won't set well with other cons. They'll live out the remainder of their lives in misery and constant fear. There is some satisfaction in knowing theyll forever be in fear of receiving what they gave. Jmo

I never thought of that. I was thinking more petty stuff but what if one of them committed a violent act etc... You know.

See Other Acts about Billy, killing mentioned as a possibility.

Reflections back to all of the rumors that swirled around shortly after the murders.

Sorting out the top rumors about Pike County shootings
Do you think that the Wagners left money lying on Kenneth Rhodens to make it look like a bad drug deal, someone kept feeding the LE with lies remember what Charles Reader said in the news conference the day the Wagners was arrested ( All The Lies That Was Reported) remember the Wagners attorney while they were in Alaska ( Billy Wagner kept telling LE who did it but the LE will not listen) the Wagners kept trying to pin the murders on so many people, I like the one Jake told the reporter while in Alaska ( I hope they catch the monster that killed the Rhodens/Gilley family) guess what they did!!!!

Please excuse my lack of enthusiasm for how the proffers can help the disguting, depraved, greedy, psychopathic members of the Wagner clan get a better offer on their plea deal.

They'll get nothing better than spending the rest of their lives in prison, as they should. They're all human garbage and deserve no support or sympathy, JMO.

Not sure if your comments are trying to imply that I am sympathetic or support the W's when speaking on my opinion from a legal aspect but it seems that is what you mean. So please excuse my lack of enthusiasm for your remarks.

I can and do use my common sense side and not my emotional side when I am speaking of legal aspects of the case. I am able to seperate the two when I need to.

I can only suggest that since my opinions on what I think goes into decisions on the case bother you, you may want to block me.

I am actually (mostly) okay with the murder charges being dropped if that is what it took to get AW to agree to a plea deal. I actually hope that the other two take deals also (as long as they receive LWOP or what would equate to that).

IMO, plea deals (in THIS case):

1. AFAIK, are not subject to appeals so will keep JW and AW in custody for their entire sentences.
2. Accomplish the same goals (mostly) as going to trial, but without the chance of mistrial or possibility of acquittals, albeit small.
3. Provide more evidence against GW and BW, increasing the chances of them either accepting pleas or being found guilty at trial.
4. Will probably save the county/state money and resources when compared to 4 DP trials.
5. May provide some degree of closure to the victims' families to hear the people who killed their loved ones admit to doing so. It could also keep them from having to èndure lengthy trials that may be painful, either from the defense blaming/shaming their loved ones or hearing

It is also important that it appears that the victims' families were in support of these deals.

A general question, not looking for horrific details about the crimes, but
thinking about the families and for them some hope of closure/an end to all this.
Do the families already know (from Prosecutor) most of what happened, or how it all played out?
Or does AC tell them only the basics and general info they must know to agree or disagree with the plea deals?
Just curious as to how the wheels of justice turn on this aspect. It's so complicated.
We already know they turn s l o w l y.

I would like to think that she informed the families to a high percent of what actually happened that night. In confidence, of course. A.C. is not only professional but I believe she does care for the families. I don’t think she would suggest the families agree to a plea deal for them to find out later that the crime was far more horrible than originally presented. Yes, those wheels turn slowly and even slower for the families. I hope these plea deals bring some amount of peace and closure for them.

When DeWine was asked about money left on KR, he said he didn’t have time to check out every rumor, or something to that effect. It was never confirmed by LE that I know about....

I hollered at Kenneth, 'Kenneth, can you hear me?' There no response. I turned around and looked at Luke,” Stone said, referring to another relative who was with him. “I said, ‘Luke, you don't need to see this.’ I walked up to the foot of the bed, I raised my head up and I looked. I saw blood in his eyes, and I knew then he was dead."

Stone said there was one thing he found odd with the crime scene.

“I (saw) money,” Stone said. “I (saw) money laying on the bed. I found that odd."

Stone said he was previously unaware of illegal activity at the home, but said he did see several marijuana plants on the property.

Officials said they found marijuana grow operations at three of the four crime scenes.

The state crime lab is analyzing more than 100 pieces of evidence. Investigators said that have fielded more than 450 tips and interviewed nearly 130 people.

Investigators ask anyone with information to call 855-BCI-OHIO.

So does the $165,000 dollars fine mean that the restitution that AW will have to pay back, she will never receive commissary money in the 30 years sentence, AW will die of starvation, or before 65 years of age, JMO

  • #459
So she can still be charged, indicted and convicted of Aggravated
Burglary Ohio Section 2911.11 (counts 10-14, spec. 1, 2, 3-starts on p. 22 of indictment) by knowledge alone?

Section 2911.11 - Ohio Revised Code | Ohio Laws

https://www.ohioattorneygeneral.gov...cial-Prosecutions/PikeCountyMurderIndictments
all of her charges she pled guilty too that happened at the 4 murder scenes are that she was part of a conspiracy (thus being present is not neccersary) or comes under the part of a criminal enterprise,

In Ohio they can take out all but $25.00 which is exempt.

To get around that people can send her inmate care packages already set up or choose individual items for the care packages. Must be ordered through approved vendors.

How to Order Packages for Ohio Inmates
Vendors
At time of writing, Ohio has three vendors authorized to deliver packages: Keefe Group/Access Securepak, Union Supply Direct and Walkenhorsts. Prisoners can look at catalogs and flyers from the different services to see what can be sent in an inmate package. You can find information on ordering in the prison visiting room, or on the Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's website. The DRC's "General Mail" page has links to the vendors' websites.
