Testified against gotti and got immunity for over 20 murders. Got gotti convicted even though he was far more violent. A truly vile corner of our "justice" system

I see the Wagners as small time, insular criminals. No connections into higher leaning criminals, just the small time Wagner Crime Family hiding behind FWF's money $.

Not thinking long term and only acting compulsively on their emotions not on strict rational or even street smarts. Watching Boondock Saints movies to justify getting their own way and to get up their nerve to cowardly kill people in bed.

Thinking outside the box, the extra security could be for their own behaviors in jail or things they've conveyed to others such as over the phone etc...

I am looking forward to finding out how George's attorneys spin Jake's and Angela's Proffers for George's benefit. What? Will his attorneys say Angela is suffering from mental illness also?

Supposedly Jake could be suffering from serious mental illness enough to affect his credibility. He may have:

Memory deficits, magical thinking, blurring of reality and fantasy, and projection of blame onto others.

His mental deficits could affect his ability to observe, narrate, and remember.

Mental illness is especially important when a witness has exhibited a pronounced disposition to lie or hallucinate or suffered from a severe illness...that dramatically impaired their ability to preceive and tell the truth.

Edward Jake Wagner had previously given recorded statements denying involvement in these murders and then admitted in open court his guilt. At the very least, this demonstrates a pronounced disposition to lie.

In this case the defense believes at the very least that Edward suffered a serious head injury as a child that required hospital care that likely is relevant to his mental health.

Also, the records prepared in mitigation for Edward in this case likely also have evidence that impugns Edward's credibility.

And if our wonderful justice system ends up giving him an opportunity at any new kind of appeal or parole he would mess that up by admitting guilt. This will be billy imo. He'll never admit it. I think it was Granny W who had the money sense, and, he had the horse sense. Put those together and they eventually created a new breed of horse, and new breed of Mastiff (dry mouth, IIRC). They held the registry to the horse breed. I know some folks who used to show horses decades ago, back when the Ws were into another type of quite pricey, but already established show horse. They remembered them as off-putting.

Not a case I followed but have had quick look. I'm interested enough to have set myself a reading fest. Odin and Valhalla would suit Billy, I see that.

The others had to assemble everything and then go out and do everything while she sat at home. She didn't have to:

1.) Disguise herself.
2.) Drive or travel.
3.) Shoot anyone.
4.) Drag bodies and tamper with crime scenes.
5.) Find and take phones and other devices.
6.) Find and take down security cameras.
7.) Get rid of evidence at FWF's.
8.) Get rid of her clothes and evidence on her body.
9.) Didn't have to worry about personally being seen out that night.
10.) Didn't have to worry about the Rhodens fighting back maybe shooting her.

She was able to get her family to do what she wanted so she could have complete control of not just one but of both grandchildren. Be the mom to them and live off any Social Security and State Aid they would get. Angie is evil and $$$ was a factor I believe. She did not have a career or retirement benefits etc...

Good point. However, For V. Doan to give up the details of the location of the remains would most likely implicate OTHER people.
And for Billy...idk.
