Nothing was said about her phone privileges. I wonder if she gets them back ?

Here's what Canepa said about Jake's Proffer:

The Proffer was not turned over to the defense for a specific reason. That being that the prosecution was waiting to see if any other Wagner would come forward to take a plea and they didn't want them to be influenced by what Jake said in his Proffer.

They wanted to see what any Wagner coming forward might say on their own without any influence from what Jake said.

So now Canepa said that BOTH Jake's and Angela's Proffers have been turned over to George's defense team. Not sure if it was turned over to Billy.

Monday's Motion Hearing for George will certainly be influenced by today's proceedings I imagine.

Long time lurker, first time poster. Listening to AC's statement today she stated that the W's entered the properties that night with specific targets they wanted to kill, and unfortunately some of the victims were killed for simply being there (paraphrasing until we have her full transcript). This makes me think that KR must have been one of their specific targets as they had to go so far out of the way to kill him. His death has always been the biggest mystery to me, why were they so intent on murdering him? Maybe we will learn more if the proffer's become public knowledge.

What are you saying, that Jake Wagner told the court that GW4 didn’t do anything????

I have no idea. JW may have said he G4 did not shoot anyone is all I am saying. I do not know. I believe G4 was there in some form though.

Who is John Doe that was mentioned when Deering was on county 22? Maybe that person is deceased and cannot defend himself.

I agree.
John Doe is in their indictments and has always been. So he would read the indictment which included that wording. I could barely hear so it could have been something else he said other than when reading the indictments.

NOW: Angela Wagner leaves the Pike County courthouse in Waverly after pleading Guilty to conspiracy, aggravated burglary and more for the 2016 murders of 8 members of the Rhoden and Gilley families.

Were those US Marshals protecting her? She must've really spilled the beans on someone .

Anybody else think she is fixing to nail BW and FW <modsnip> to the wall? Can't imagine they agreed to 30 yrs without some da* good info that can be backed up.

I hope there's some good outcome in exchange for the great deal she received.

I don't mind AC having to negotiate plea deals with these monsters so that the state doesn't have to spend so much money on their trials, but this deal seems too generous to the monster who spawned this massacre and who worked very hard to put on a indignantly righteous front to cover it up.

I haven't looked at all the details, but I hope there's no attempt to cover up any other criminal activity incriminating other protected persons.

I'm just starting to breathe normally. WTH happened here? I thought all members of the 'Enterprise' got charged the same...even if they didn't pull a trigger. I'm so disappointed and I'm hoping something more comes out of her confession.

The thought of her getting the 8 murder charges dropped is literally giving me stomach pains.

Her 30 year sentence is a life sentence for her because she is 50 years old so that helps.

She's 50? Well that's a little better. Maybe she will spend the rest of her life in prison.

I hope the innocent people she helped kill haunt her every night.

Yes wow, one or more were killed just for having been there.

I'm thinking Gary. It is slightly possible Kenny was a witness but probably he was targeted to help move focus away from UHR and make it look Cartel/drug related.

So this freaks me out that perhaps those other 3 would have been killed if they had spent the night like originally planned.

I thought the Wagners were paying closer attention to who was there in the 4 homes that night but evidently not.

Other things AW gave state that they bought a vehicle specifically for the crimes. I am back to being confused again (doesn't take much) but the state reading into record the events of the murders was not clear as to whether AW was their or not, or it didn't seem clear to me.

me again, lol!
Aggravated burglary she would of had to of physically been inside the residence (occupied structure). Here is the statute again:

Aggravated Burglary (§ 2911.11): It's a first degree felony to trespass in an occupied structure when people are present with the purpose to commit a criminal offense, and: The person inflicts, attempts or threatens to inflict physical harm on another; or. The person has a deadly weapon.

I think some people (not AC) are focused so closely on the state budget. The defense attorneys knew this and tried to take advantage. AC probably tried to negotiate a tougher deal, but the bean counters backed down. May they also get what they deserve, if true.

JMO

ETA: I missed out on about the last third or quarter of the hearing, so I still have to go back and listen to the end part. I only got as far as Judge Deering getting through reading the charges that would stand.

The state has reason to clearly be concerned for her life…. IMO

I did not ever think she would take a LWOP or that they would get her to agree to that. I believe JW said she did not shoot and I believe he said the same about G4.
I agree.

Absolutely! Letting this killer out of prison at 80 years old doesn't guarantee she won't pull some other crime. Ugh.

That was a powerful looking security team. All in armor. I wonder if she's been threatened.
