Just kidding. The court employees have done great work on these pre-trial hearings, especially during the pandemic. It's risky work being around the public all day, every day.

They do work hard and I don't suppose all who appear in Court handle their appearance with decorum. I've seen in some cases where things have got out of hand, not in Judge Deerings Court.

Walked away, Judge suddenly appears on the bench and he's reading all the upcoming dates in the pre trial hearings, evidence. Is GW4 is there.

AC discussing voir dire in August.

Will have to listen to this again because he's reeling off dates and info.

Defense will meet with prosecution at a separate location?

AC asks court something about time/gateway for asking continuance? Not sure if that's what she said.

Defense something about we have assigned an indefinite time waiver. (Assume that's regarding speedy trial provision)
Clerk making copies of something, handing it to judge.
Each team has to sign the document.

Specific time waiver earlier, second time waiver signed was open ended.

This was a very quick hearing after meetings with defense and prosecution. The judge went over a fairly detailed calendar for going to trial, as agreed to by both sides.

The live feed had been paused. Apparently the court convened quickly after that. They got the live feed going and Judge Deering was reading through a lot of dates, etc. very quickly.

Did anyone hear anything about change of venue?
