Here is Law and Crime coverage from yesterday's testimony. It would be 6 hrs. and 30 minutes and after that for videos of the vehicles (trucks) being shown.
Thanks for the time stamp!

I checked it last night on Google Maps. The distance from Dana's to Left Fork Rd is about 8.2 miles, estimated time was about 13 minutes. JMO, that's probably a guess for Google Maps. In reality, it probably does take about 20 minutes, especially at night, with all the curves, etc.

ETA: Watching those spooky security cam videos last night of the Wagners driving back and forth on Hwy 722 and Union Hill Rd and Left Fork Rd was eerie and frightening. So much evil creeping around that night. Its enough to give you nightmares.

Jmo I agree from Dana’s 13 min but from 772 to left fork not as long. I do think the prosecutor needs to clean that up. Especially if any juror from that area. The detective stated he could not say absolutely those were the same vehicles. Jmo

Jmo I don’t understand the time line. From 772 at 2:00am to left fork at 2:29am? Is that correct? Then vehicle seen driving from Kr at 3:10am then turned onto onto Union hill at 3:19am?

The testimony/videos/timeline was confusing to me also so I'm not going to try and figure out the W's activities at this time and wait for more testimony (esp. Jake's) to explain the timeline. I don't know if the jury will even consider it since one can't make out the color/make/model of the vehicles. JMO

good. hopefully by tomorrow I will be all caught up with the trial videos. on day 10 now

The good thing about using YouTube, you can set the playback speed as high as 2x, really helps with slow talkers and long pauses.

Your welcome. I had to leave for a while yesterday right before the break was over and had to watch that part later. It was driving me nuts that I was missing it.

Good day Betty. I believe dad was inside CR's with that gun... then used it again at KRs.
JW with the .22 and Junior with the rifle to begin with. Couldn't shoot it so JW did (maybe). I am wondering if he just made that up tho to lessen Juniors actions. And he couldn't aim good so that is why only 1 hit on CR. Both are dead before JW can shoot anyone with the .22

All JW at DRs for the most part... and dad takes out KR because he knows CR told KR about meeting him later that night.

What ya think?

I'm back to being a bit behind, but on Day 12, the fella who testified as to ballistics, testified that all
the casing evidence that was found at CR1's and KRs, in addition to any removed from the bodies of CR1, GR, and Kr, came from the same 40 caliber firearm and iirc, it's been stated it was likely a Glock. ~ A 40 caliber Glock semi-auto, will require a very firm grip and stance. I'm thinking that's a G3 firearm.

The .22 calibers, from a Walther Colt 1911 semi-auto, were all found at HHG/FR's and DR's homes. Both homes had multiple victims, apparently neither infant had suffered hearing damage, and FR's toddler did not awaken. The Walther Colt 1911 will accept a suppressor. ~ JW's Firearm

The 30 caliber SKS 7.62 x 39 semi-auto will have a recoil similar to an AR15 which is not bad at all. In watching Day 12, the ballistics specialist answered, in response to the defense's question about the number of casings submitted;

He responded that there were "no 7.62x39 cartridge cases submitted". The SKS would be throwing brass also. As I said, I'm a bit behind but he states more than once the he received no casings to compare to the SKS. Where did the SKS come from? Was G4 to hold in case needed but never had to use it? Do they have the actual firearms but are just using dummies for court?

I have read that JW and AW can opt out. Although it's their right, maybe that should have been part of their proffer, that they testify on video/audio record. I think out of everyone, it's important to see their faces and hear their intonation, but, at least the jury will, and that's who is most important.

Same here, half the time we couldn't see what was being pointed to, and only saw each clip twice at the most.

Would be nice to have those videos in a file, versus a video of a monitor screen. All the adjustments to the timestamps make tracking the timeline difficult. Each security camera that had the incorrect time needed a different adjustment on it's time.

The color balance is incorrect on the courtroom camera a lot of the time. Every once in a while it gets adjusted correctly.

What is so creepy about the videos of the vehicles is seeing it in action. Knowing from Jakes proffer that they went there, left drove to Dana's and then by Kenneth's, then back to CRsrs and to Frankies and murdered them, then back to Danas and murdered them, then to Kenneth's and murdered him. It's the thought and intention for me that makes me sick. They didn't flip and murder CRsr and Gary, then feel bad and head home, they drove around stalking them.. waiting for Dana to get home, checking on Kenneth to make sure he wasn't up, then went back for more killing. The trucks going back and forth just as Jake said shows that evil in action.

It has been mentioned that they had a brass catcher. Wasn't the SKS the only shot that hit CRsr's arm and nearly tore it off? :( Horrific to even type that.

So far, all the firearms shown and handled in court have been examples, not the actual weapons used.

I agree, the SKS has less recoil than say, a 30-30 Winchester (30cal) or even some 12ga shotguns.

Same here but then I was disappointed at the video footage. Got all hyped up over nothing!

i know they have no real defense but to imply Leonard Manley killed this whole family is beyond despicable.
I don't think that's what they'll say about Leonard's shoes being the same as the shoe print evidence. I think they'll say Leonard was in DR's, CRSR's and FR's before the murders and likely went into one or two of the scenes that morning after his daughter Bobby Jo called him and he came to her.

If there is any sunlight getting into the courtroom, It will change the color temp of the scene during the day. New cameras should adjust automatically (if the feature is turned on).

My opinion is that the W's were finalizing their plans about the time Jake bought the ,22 lr Walther replica of the colt 45 m1911. The only reasons to buy one of those is that you are afraid of a "real" .45 Colt or you have a special reason for that handgun.

I remember having discussions about the possibility of the Wagner's buying shoes that the Manley's wore. I discarded it, but there it is, LM's shoe that Angela actually says is the type of shoe she bought from Walmart for her "boys" to wear to commit murder. So did she try to frame the Manley's? Why deliberately buy shoes LM wore? The Wagner's would have to research what he wore.

I said color balance when I should have said white balance. Not familiar at all with the remote camera they're using. But if you ever see a tv crew setting up cameras, one of the things they always do is hold a white sheet of paper in front of the camera to set the white balance. But the end result is making the color correct.

The iris adjusts for light and should handle changes automatically, unless it's set to manual.

Many of the photos shown were overly blue, or washed out with light, but it has gotten better after a few days.

I think there may be more detail in those truck videos than the camera shot shows. Anytime you record from a tv screen like that, you lose definition.

My guess would be the price @ 15bucks. But, i wouldnt put anythjng past the W4 clan

I think the .22 was chosen for it's ability to easily accept a silencer and would be the most quiet with a silencer. The claim is made that it's the weapon of choice for assassins.

The .22 also has those unique ballistics of a sub-sonic, small caliber. As seen in this case, I don't really want to describe.

I noticed that too with the photo images, it was very annoying to the eyes, IMO

Dr Looman (sp?), did say; a high-powered weapon caused the damage to his arm. Atty Canepa suggested two types of firearms it might be; AR (Armalite) or a SKS. Dr. Looman agreed. There were no bullet fragments large enough to send for ballistics testing and no casings found. They found other shell casings. Dr Looman also stated it was very important to retrieve shell casings so that the firearm experts could match them with a firearm. They have no casings to match to the SKS.
