I am in the process of taking screen caps of AW's gray notebook with monthly expenses/bills/notes. Is anyone interested in them? If so I will post.

I thought DP cases could not be tried together? Anyone know if this is true? IANAL
Yes that was my meaning. Normally conspiracy cases will charge and try Rico defendants together . However in Ohio dp can't be tried together. So a better phrasing would be all conspiracy cases can be tried together except the dp
. For instance a drug conspiracy could be tried together. So my main point is all evidence involving overt acts by any member is appropriate in each trial regardless of which conspirator was present for specific acts.
But this perspective becomes obfuscated due to defendants being separated

IMO, According to TAbs testimony George Wagner iv and Jake probably work part-time, JMO this family had a lot of new stuff like trucks, 4 Wheelers and guns, Ect,they where considered rich people in the community, you don’t get that kind of stuff for free, the family was a crime family trying to hide behind the church religion, I wonder if The Rhoden family can take Billy’s (Trust Fund Baby) check from the Wagner family if found guilty in civil court!
He tried to make a big showing like he was a rich man in his interview with the BCI agents, JMO

Why were they paying for water? Would they have a private well in the country? That is what I have always had, maybe things are different there?

The bills are all proof that they shared their bill money! GW4 better make a plead deal, you Sleuthers know that Billy is going to say that GW4 shot the other victim, JMO

I wonder if the government seized the Rhoden property and assets, (and the cash) under the civil forfeiture laws. The pot grows on the property makes it a likely possibility.

But it would be too late. No sign of Billy testifying at the trial.

Wow. What if Billy and Jake and George had trusts and the Rhodens could get them in civil trial?

That would be awesome.

Jmo at first I thought it would be hard for Angela to testify against George but now I am not so sure. I can see her now saying what she needs to to save herself. Also will they tell in court all the stories Jake told at his proffer before the state was satisfied with a confession?
I suppose they will touch on everything germane from JW's proffer that the prosecution feels will erase any reasonable doubt from juror's minds that GWIV is guilty as charged.

BBM

IMO, that's exactly why we should have faith it will all come together eventual and not be too impatient with how the evidence is being delivered.

I don't know. He just might say JW killed them all since GWIV didn't turn state's evidence on him...if it came to that.

I would hope the state would show some mercy and compassion under the circumstances and let any money from assets go into education trusts for the children of this family tragedy.

There is a Barbara Moore in Kenia Alaska.
There seems to be a 2021 obituary for her listed in google search...she was 88 when she pasted. I think it might be the BM who's a lawyer in West Union, Oh. Maybe something about GWIV or JW's child custody case?

I have about 80 head of Cattle I would love for you to Market for me.

Best I can do is $1.45 a lbs. X 1250lbs $1812 a head. I like your figures much better.

For about twice that price you can have it processed, custom packaged, and frozen. Current price in my area is $3.19/lb hanging weight for black Angus Steers.

Then I would have to bow to your greater experience since I have never been to Ohio. I went though TN a couple of times on my way to VA, but that is it.

I was going off what I have seen people from the area say on here. Also on the fact that before Dana moved there were three generations living in the home that Frankie later lived in. Indeed there were three generations of family living in the new home. Dana, Hannah and SW and KR.

This is a common occurrence all over the country. Kids live with parents then have children of their own. Sometimes the kids get married and continue to live with parents after they have their own children because they cannot afford to move out on their own for various reasons, usually financial. Or they have older parents who need care so they move the parents in with them while also having their own children living with them, even teenaged children or older. In todays age this is really not seen as an enmeshed family. At times it is just a convenient arrangement. And in many of these cases finances get intermingled. Married kids who cannot afford their own place give parents money to help pay the bills.

Honestly I have seen this in families who are upper middle class who just do not want to put mom or dad in a nursing home and share responsibility for their care among themselves and their older children.

But if there is one thing I have learned about people living in Appalachia they are loyal to family and very proud of who they are.

The reasons above is why I think the jury might not see the W's as an enmeshed family.

I saw the notebook where Angie listed the bills from month to month. I didn't think that was evidence of being enmeshed. George, Jake and Billy were self employed as truck drivers. Many of the bills being paid on the lists could be used as deductions on taxes. Such as cell phones, utilities, ect. Also parents pay bills and their kids living with them pay them back.

Sometimes mom just gets stuck with the bookkeeping. Especially in the case of adult sons who do not have a wife/GF they can shove it off on. And yes I know that is a sexist remark and that many men pay their own bills but you have to admit it happens often that mom gets stuck with it.

Maybe others from the area around Pike County could weigh in on this since my knowledge is so limited. It would be great to hear from some of them if they think the jury will view three generations living in one house and mom paying bills for her adult children would be viewed as being an enmeshed family.

Also it's pretty well known on here that I am not that maternal. It's not that I don't love my son and grandsons, it's just that I love them from afar, when they are in their own house. lol

JMO
I don't disagree about the general observation that there are families who share homes with 3 generations living there. This is particularly true as the real estate market for home ownership and rentals has made it hard for young families. The Rhodens are an example of a family who shared resources and physical space. CR Sr. buying that house for Dana, where Hanna and the baby could live is a good example of what you are talking about.

But sharing resources is not the same as "enmeshment" or cult-like living. It is not normal or typical or healthy for the mother to dictate the sons' sex lives or to insist that a new baby sleep with the grandparents. It's not normal for the family of origin (in this case, Angela, Jake, George and Billy, when he's present) to make decisions that the wives/partners of the sons are not allowed to be part of. It's not normal or healthy for the mother of grown sons to be cyberstalking their girlfriend or threatening their wife with a gun. It's not normal to forge signature on faux custody papers and get your notary mother (generation 4) to notarize the forged document.

I believe the jury can draw these same distinctions by now, even if the prosecution isn't always razor sharp, just as those of us who have followed this case from the beginning did for ourselves. Jake's testimony is already part of the record in his case. He will have to testify to what he told prosecutors. He has already given testimony that recovered the guns. He will tell us who did what. He has everything to lose by not living up to his part of the deal.

Effective, 1997 All persons shall be bailable by sufficient sureties, except for a person who is charged with a capital offense where the proof is evident or the presumption great, and except for a person who is charged with a felony where the proof is evident or the presumption great and where the person poses a substantial risk of serious physical harm to any person or to the community. Where a person is charged with any offense for which the person may be incarcerated, the court may determine at any time the type, amount, and conditions of bail. Excessive bail shall not be required; nor excessive fines imposed; nor cruel and unusual punishments inflicted.

Reason why "Billy Boy" & "George Porgy" (couldn't resist) weren't allowed bond. I had wondered about why bond was not allowed and researched it.
