I wonder what that DVR recorded? Where were the cameras? Inside outside?
I might just be remembering something made up, but I feel like somewhere maybe opening or one of the pretrial hearings or somewhere that this was for their house, but then it was realized how stupid it was because it would show them leaving that night and possibly show them planning or actions they were taking and Angela had them get rid of it. Anyone recall this? Maybe I dreamt it. This has so many turns, it's possible it was speculation at some point also.

When we were shown Room A, who noticed the blue flip flop lady slippers close to the bed. No way Billy would wear those. Besides we've already seen his room when we saw the Vest didn't we. But Robins area OMG, she must have some knowledge.

TAnd it is my bedtime - I shall do the rest in the morning.
Unless @Chelly wants to do them all... :)
@Niner. Thanks for the offer, but I must pass on the substitute tweet posting position. I was just filling in during your absence during some interesting tweeting this afternoon. That job wipes me out these days.

I am surprised at how behind the times BCI was in respect to technology. Did not know how to work a body camera? Really? Many many local police departments were using them back then. I would have expected Pike County to be somewhat backward, but never would have expected the lead investigator of this case to be a Luddite.

Was the body one on an agent? Maybe it wasn't.

I know right? Why burn it? Why not just take out the drive, sledgehammer it and burn that or throw it in a river on your trucking travels? I get rural still gets to burn their stuff outside, I remember doing that here in my childhood. But they didn't do a very good jib of destroying the device, if that was their intent as serial #'s were still visible.

Yeah there most likely would be video recordings of these hours long interviews with the W's. That, IMO, was a major blunder on BCI's...going and setting up everything in the wrong state, then having to scramble to MT. It cost them the jurir's seeing demeanor and body language. All they will have is audio. The Mob's been convicted a just audio though.
Did they say why they didn't use video? I'm guessing they had their reasons for not using FBI, but they probably weren't good reasons. I'll let it go at that. Don't understand why charges weren't brought against Fredericka & Robin Wagner, though.

I was just waiting for a bunch of tweets. Easier to put them all in one post. Makes my job a bit easier! Keeping notes that is.
That's okay - about not doing tweets - I know you don't like doing them.

I shall gather them up in the morning! Good night! :)

Scheiderer testified that he accidentally turned it off. He thought he was turning it on after being instructed how to use it.

That would be a great oversight on their part, along with a lot of things they did to get caught, thank God!

I am just glad they figured out the crossing point in time. The W's could have changed their minds about that at any time.

As a resident of Ohio, I'm sadly not surprised. It's also why the state could barely pony up the money to help pay for these trials. Luddite describes part of it.

Defense asked they be allowed to play Jake's interview during cross exam of Scheiderer, judge immediately announces a break until 2:35pm.

Edit: I had to go back and make sure that's what I heard, and it was.

Schiederer said the interview is "4-6 hours long ... many hours".

They're coming back in. Are we going to hear Jake's interview?

Yes, they had no time with the ND diversion so only had audio capabilities at MT crossing. I don't know if it was all the physical cameras were installed at ND crossing and couldn't be removed or removed in time or the MT paperwork to set it up there wasn't able to be done in time so they just taped the interviews?

So I guess the defense is going to go with Jake being a liar and lied about GW4's involvement? Imo.

with defense arguing in opening statement that JW killed all 8 I could see the defense arguing AW BW and JW went to do the murders, GW stayed at home, and the shoeprints are AW and JW

I"'m not seeing it yet
Judge just got seated.

They're debating about playing the interview. Which if it happens, may not be until morning now.

...and I just lost the feed. Looks like the tv timed out this time. Got it back.
