Oh wow! I don't know how the state of Ohio can afford another trial of this caliber.

I would say that Pike Co got a lot of assistance. It's not a thriving county last I checked.

Some jurors are probably asking themselves the same. (I'd be one) Others maybe not. Interesting tactic.

I always put myself in the eyes, ears and thoughts of the jury.

If I were a juror, I would be unhappy to sit though an overkill of possibly unrelated evidence. Especially during an unusually long trial. Just an opinion.

Governor was able to get some money into the state budget for these trials. Barely enough to cover 2, if they were careful. State GE is term limited, low IQ and doesn't like to allocate money for this kind of thing. JMO It's risky to expect them to fund another trial. Defense knows this.

Where does this information come from? When did JW state this? If this is true then Jake just again implicated George in the murders - in disposing evidence. George would know they were getting rid of the firearm pieces and parts.

This is the first time I've listened, watched, and participated in the thread. I normally don't b/c it's easier to put myself in the juror's place. So far, as much as I feel he was part and parcel of the W4 and acted as part of them, if that makes sense, they've yet to prove it "beyond a shadow of a doubt". Hopefully they'll tie it all up at the end.

They should both plea out... obviously they were involved. I don't see any valid strategy except to confuse, deflect and hope 1 juror is out of their mind.

Save much money... but maybe that is what BW and GW are hoping. Lack of money.

I can see where they're going but not all of these are on the list. what was my question is if the gun list was made prior to the murders, then yes, it may have been a "wish list". What is this list on Jakes phone? A wish list that he made.

True, they could have bought some of the guns on the list after the murders, since they didn't collect Jake's phone until over a year later. In that time Hubby could buy another safe full.

I don't think it would do any good. Billy isn't smart enough to take a plea deal, even a good one. Remember when he forced his own attorneys to argue for him to be released on bail? Now we've heard his interview, too. State could offer him a great deal and he would fight for a trial, thinking he's innocent. Because he really doesn't think he did anything wrong.

I think the prosecution will win with GW4 and will have to scrape up the money somehow to prosecute Billy.

I have been on three trial juries which probably accounts for my reasoning.
