Initially, Billy Wagner’s mother, Fredericka Wagner, also was charged in connection with Ohio’s largest and most expensive homicide case.

Prosecutors initially accused her of lying during 2018 grand jury testimony about where she bought two bulletproof vests in 2016 (she bought them on eBay).

The obstruction and perjury charges were dismissed against her in March 2019.

Those charges can still be reinstated.

I added this a bit later regarding Billy:

There is no statute of limitations on murder. Wagner's didn't think this through. They thought the small "keystone" cop department in Pike County would give up and believe it was a Cartel professional hit and set it on file as a cold case.

Remember? Billy told investigators it was navy seals? He was trying to point the investigation away from locals and on to crime drug bosses. He was quick to blame it on drugs. Drug dealers did it, not locals living arou
Billy Wagner was no Navy Seal! Not even close.

Who buys ammunition for guns on a “Wish List”

Matt White says it was after May 2017 (when searches happened and guns seized) that he identified the 1911 Colt Walther .22 as the handgun in the crime that matched the shell casings. So he had to examine all the .22 guns found at the Flying W.
Thanks. That’s what I heard today when watching his testimony. Disregard the comments above.

No one. George lies like the rest of the Wagners, though he apparently has a couple of people fooled.

Those two Beretta handguns with identical grips (white with grim reaper image), one had the threaded barrel with adapter, easily accepts a suppressor. One did not.
So according to Angela’s notes Jake, George and Billy had life insurance payment but I didn’t see any for Angela is this right Sleuthers?

The divers found the maglite suppressor that didnt work right, in the Wagner's cistern in their barn. It had a distinct firing pin impression on it that BCI found out is a unique distinct marking from firing the Walther Colt. This is a German company and BCI talked to people in the company to confirm.

BCI had never heard of this before and this suppressor was the last piece of evidence they needed before arrests. I think this firing pin impression matched the firing impression used in the murders tying Jake to the murders just like his 22 casings tied his colt gun to the murders.

Well, the firing pin impression matched Walther colt guns but if Jake gave BCI his Walther colt gun, then BCI can get the exact match. BCI needs to prove the guns Jake hid, match the guns used in the murders.

Been so long, trying to remember. But again, we want to see tie-ins with George specifically.

George owning and buying certain guns, even on a hundred gun lists, doesn't prove he took them and shot them during 8 murders.
The suppressor found in the cistern could not have a firing pin impression on it. It showed bullet markings on the baffles showing that the baffle holes were off center.

Yes, AW had a life insurance policy. Not sure about Billy. She noted hers as "My Life" or "Life (me)". Premium cost $87/mo. Sorry if the images are difficult to read, it is the best I can do with the images shown on the moniter in court, I don't know how to clean them up. It is best if you save to device and zoom or on a phone zoom in. I also noticed $180/mo life insurance payment for "Daddy" or "Danny". Her father maybe? I can't see her noting Billy as anything but his name like she did in one notation for his truck. JMO

That may be true and they aren't finished. This was my take from today, YMMV. From what was reported today, there will be more testimony about the guns, the hidden ones and some recorded conversations.

We'll know when the state is finished. I don't like to get bored and slam them when they're not finished making their case on some critical evidence. No one wants to see a killer released to prey upon the public, right?
I wonder how long the trial will last for, JW and AW are going to be on the stand a while

I thought the BCI gun guy said the Glock 17 is a .22.

The berretta is a .40 cal.

The BCI gun guy Matt White said Chris, Gary and Kenny were killed with a .40 cal Glock, 2nd generation. He was very certain about that on direct a few days ago. Even said what Generation the Glock was, 2nd indicating it was an older model Glock .40. since Glock is up to 5th generation now. So it wasn't on the list. Sorry had to go back and listen to the gun guy again from a while ago.

BIUBM He certainly did. He's easy to follow.

Yes, I recall they were prepared to have it go as long as the end of October. That's one reason they rescheduled Billy's trial.
