Just jumping off your post. I searched and I can’t find the actual post now but wasn’t a neighbor quoted as saying that she saw McKee weeks earlier just standing at the Tepe’s gate?

Affidavit does not go into detail about specifically what made her leave the game, just that it had to do with MM. So he was tormenting her and she had reason to be scared, we just don’t know what exactly happened.

I honestly can’t believe they stayed in that house with 2 small kids knowing he had been there. She knew he was there on Dec 6. She either was told by a neighbor someone was lurking or she saw video. Either way something tipped her off and made her upset enough to leave the football game. I can’t believe she had to live in that kind of fear and it ended the way it did. Sickening

IIRC, a reporter asked about it at the police press conference. The word gate wasn't used, but it was implied that neighbors have reported seeing him before.

ETA - I found it. It's at around 8 min. in the video below.

Q: Neighbors have said that they had seen Mckee in the neighborhood and in front of the Tepe home days before the homicide. Can you confirm that?

I had meant the post might have been flagged as rumor (whether true or not) as I was trying to figure out why none of the searches I did that included the word gate didn't come up with a post so I could answer the other OP.

I still want to know if Flagged posts are searchable or not... It would be interesting to know for those of us that do frequent searches.

i agree with other posters when they say, in light of learning about the stalking, it’s totally understandable the coworker’s big reactions to ST not showing up to work. the Tepes were obviously being tormented. this also colors the statement ST’s boss said to the effect of: “and his wife isn’t answering, which is even more concerning”.

i wonder if that was directly referencing MM. maybe im reading into it

If not putting up hidden cameras... what? Did he enter the house, take a selfie and send it to her? Is that why she left the game to go back to the hotel? Maybe she did that so as not to have Spencer and friends see her bawling her eyes out. Maybe she didn't want to upset everyone where they were having fun.

Someone must have seen something, alerted her and Spencer that there was someone sketchy around their house, and her stomach must have been telling her it was him but she didn’t KNOW for sure it was him. She must not have had hard proof like a photo or exact description or anything. Then as we all do, she likely talked herself out of it being him, told herself she was overreacting, basically forgot about it, and let her guard down leading up to Dec 30.

That's what I'm wondering except for what about the rest of the time? Part of the ~2 hrs would be getting inside the house, a selfie doesn't take long at all. Snooping?

But here's the thing. It would NOT have been smart on his part to do that. She could have given that evidence to the police. Her house, his face, his threats....

According to the affidavit, McKee was seen on video entering Tepe’s property on N. 4th Street on Dec. 6, 2025, and leaving a few hours later when the couple was away ,
What camera would capture him entering, I guess properly could mean the yard, but would he sit in their yard for 2 hours??
They dont even have trees to hide behind. well one beside the garage I guess but thats outside the gate.

THIS is so alarming. On December 6? I have been away, and I haven't caught up yet. I am moving from last page forward. I am so excited to continue and find out the details, and more about this. IMO it could not have been their home security or ring camera, or they would have known. This must be a video the police have found during the investigation. I am sure they are going back in time, to any available video, to see if he was stalking the home in the days, weeks prior to the killings. This is very creepy to think about.
