A lot of emotions are tied up in this case. Just because I look at it differently doesn't mean I do not want justice. However, the way I view it is through the legal system, and try take the heart and emotion out of the picture (Difficult at times).
Trials are very interesting because you get to see our legal system at play and how a jury, interprets the law and evidence presented. Just as different people interpret the intricacies of the Constitution, or the Bible, differently or the wording of important legal rights on ballots (example: The vote NO for Yes on the KY ballot this fall to support the rights of women to obtain certain medical procedures. Most definitely a tactic to confuse, but legal).
A plea is a win. So AC has two wins under her belt, as long as JW and AW testify as they have agreed to do so. That's a nice addition to her resume/Linked In/etc... Prosecutors love pleas.
Y'all may dislike the defense, but if someday the need for a defense atty. arises, if it were me, I'd want a very zealous and dedicated one. I happen to have attys in my family (in criminal defense & prosecution). I, unfortunately, did not follow in their footsteps, as much as the law fascinates me. At the end of the day, if the government cannot prove their case, the criminal justice system is designed to find that defendant not guilty. It's not personal, it's about the laws in place.
This is all on the prosecution, the evidence that they are able to present, and what the judge deems admissible, to convince all of the jurors in this trial that there is no other reasonable explanation that can come from the evidence, than GW4 is guilty. I'm not sure if they have to find him guilty on all counts, or not. I've not seen that or have forgotten.
