I feel like we are seeing what happens when a witness isn't asked about every little thing. The defense is waiting to ask something that confuses them or something that maybe wasn't part of their area to look into and then make it seem like they didn't do a thorough job. I know this is what they are supposed to do. It is likely why we are seeing a lot of redundant topics/questions and a lot of information that doesn't help the case. They have to say every little thing the defense could possibly bring up so they can talk about it first or the defense comes along and says okay what about xyz. It's making so much sense why we saw all those shell casings that were not from the murder weapon, all the various recordings that may or may not matter, all the guns from FWF that were ruled out, etc. They prosecution is presenting their case, but also showing far more than the pertinent stuff because the defense could use something they deem not relevant to make them look bad by not being thorough.
