After the complaint was received they spoke to people in different positions in the county, someone added to the complaint in some way. The decision for the subpoena wasn’t based solely on one anonymous complaint. People complain all the time about le, but you don’t see subpoenas issued. Jmo

Everyone likes LE til they or family member/friend gets in trouble. Imo

I do not think it was strictly over custody, as le has already said, since I dont know any of the people i can only say, imo, drugs, they are everywhere around this area, i had no idea how bad it was when my husband and i retired here, it is worse than in the city we moved from

I'm sure this has been discussed ad nauseum, but the pill mills created the opioid problem in the area. Once those clinics were shutdown, heroin took over. It's a horrible issue and even the innocent are being affected by the criminal element it has created. Potheads were always in the area, at least as early as the late 70s. IMO If the Ws are found guilty, I hope they throw the book at these people. They don't deserve to walk amongst the civilized people in the region. JMO

I know a couple of threads back, there was discussion about FWs holdings, etc. and I don't recall if this article was already referenced. But it's interesting to me that she created 3 LLCs in 2016. I don't know if it ties into the case somehow, anyone know how to find out when in 2016 these were done? Sure would be interesting to know who was named as beneficiaries....

Were any tax/reporting/LLC laws changed in 2016 that might have caused the formation of these LLC's?
Interesting that these appear to have happened 6 months after the murders, maybe someone trying to protect their assets? Were the real estate ones created in 2016?

IMO.....what evidence is there of the sheriff's dept setting up the Ws? BCI was the lead investigative agency with a couple of deputies assisting. Conspiracy theories run amuck creates rumors, especially from those lacking reading comp. skills.

I don’t believe there is any current evidence of that happening, and I don’t believe anyone is trying to frame the W but if the sherriff did do the things he is being investigated for, then a defense attorney can use that to try to create doubt Jmo.

I agree with you, if they are found guilty they don't deserve to walk amongst the civilized people. I dont believe it was because of MJ. There have been 3 murders within a 5 mile radius of us, one of them was the rhoden cousin, 2 homes raided for drugs, in the same area, all since 2014. Those are only the ones I know about from the news.

I even went further, I invited RL atty for steaks on the grill tomorrow. He asked if it would be a Q & A session. I replied: “see you around 7”.

I am a new member just learning how to comment. I do live in the area but only for the last 10 years and had never heard of either the Rhodens or the Wagners until this horrible massacre.

Does anyone have knowledge of what home was treated? Could it have been say the camper on LFR? Were all of the homes treated? Or was it just one? Did LE say there was an infestation?or did a journalist write that in an article?

The Rhodens didn’t deserve to be made to look “worse than they already did”. They are all victims. Eight victims. Dead. And their lifestyle was no different than hundreds of thousands of other people in this country. JMO

Bedbugs can be packed into anyone's home. The bedbug issue is not saying mean things or victim bashing the Rs/HHG . If they had them they had them. My kid brought lice home one year. It was all in the elementary schools. We treated it and moved on. Treating it was a pain, for those who have not had the joy. My kid's hair was snipped short after that. I'm not dirty, but many think you have to be dirty for your kid to get hair lice. You don't have to be dirty to get bedbugs either. They are not easy to get rid of though. Insecticides don't kill the eggs. It's why I'm freaky about checking motels. I do not want them.

Was the Sheriff called when the "joy riders' were run off by the Rhoden boys? That was a few weeks prior. Also a few weeks prior was the road rage incident. Was the Sheriff there after that incident? It could be several things, I would guess...

Those wasn't joy riders, those boys came to beat little Chris up, the joy ride was a lie. JMO.

Non-partisan is what I think, Rsd. I searched for donations & found none.

It was reported repeatedly in MSM that “trailers” (plural) had to be treated prior to relocation.
Reporters had to have supporting documentation, I think.
I read some earlier posted links, they do sound nearly impossible to be rid of.

Rsd~I posed a question to two attys, one verified here, the other a RL friend, criminal defense atty, with a fair share of felony murder cases.

Of course I got a dif’ answer from both.

Am I allowed to discuss the question & their answers, more importantly, why they answered as they did?

Actually, if you discussed the case with one of the WS verified attorneys in a message, you are allowed to post the information here. They don't mind. I've done this numerous times with gitana.
