Didn't I read somewhere on this board that Billy disappeared for 3 weeks after the murders? If true that might be because he was wounded e.g. black eye or gunshot wound.

JMO

That's a very relevant topic - the whereabouts, demeanor and activities of the killers in the days and weeks after the murders. I don't recall reading that, but if true it will come out in the trials.

There was a pharmacist here selling a special hand/skin cream for years. The women loved it. It was finally revealed to just be repackaged bag balm. He made no claims about it that it would do anything special. He just offered it in a plain jar with the name of his drugstore,"Hand Cream" on the label with the ingredients....
Smart man...it’s great stuff. From cuts to diaper rashes, dry skin, splinters, all of the above. We also use drawing salve at my house too. People in this area think I’m crazy when I talk about it but it’s a southern thing and it’ll cure any infected skin and even draw an imbedded deep splinter out from under your skin. It smells like tar, but works like gold. Totally O/T LOL.

Link to the "sketchy pasts" please. That is something I haven't read about. Thanks.

Wow just casual reading unsealed a bunch of accusations. I will post some links of what I’ve come across.

I remember reading it somewhere, I thought it was a post on the board, but at any rate right now it is just rumor as I have nothing to back it up.

I posted it in the last thread a couple of times. One of the defense attorneys from the Portsmouth area was involved in questionable activities. Will go back and search.
I see now above sorry

Also OT but I learned something from a patient's family from West Virginia. Weeks and weeks after the patient's son watched his mother's wound remain unchanged as I tried one doctor's order after another to heal it, I arrived one day to see the son had taken over the job. He used pine sap. The patient's wound healed in about a week. Later, I found pine sap works well on animal's wounds, too... at least on the shoulder of a horse gouged deeply with barbed wire.

"Pine trees ooze resin when they get damaged. The resin has antibacterial properties which prevent the damaged tree from getting infected. In this same way, pine resin can also be used to heal our wounds. In addition to being antiseptic, pine sap is also anti-inflammatory and its stickiness helps it close wounds."

The R's lived out in a rural area. I would assume they lived there so no one could tell them how their yard should look. Not everyone is as lucky as the R's were.

I had a client come in and ask if I knew anyone who needed a car. She said she owned a Jeep that was about 6 years old. She said it was running fine and tagged but she had bought a new vehicle and her HOA told her she couldn't have over 2 cars in her driveway so she had 3 days to get rid of it or get a 1000.00 fine. I told her about a Vietnam Veteran who's car had recently gave out and was having to depend on the Senior Citizens Center (where I volunteer) to get to his doctors appointments. She brought the car to my office with the title signed over and I called the center who brought him up to get it. She couldn't even claim a charitable donation for giving him the car. But I did give her a discount on my fee to refund her for her gasoline in having to bring 2 cars to my office.

So yes the R's were lucky to live where they did and no one telling them how to live.

JMO

Yep 70 acres lucky. I'm lucky too. I'd rather die than live in a HOA. My point is, that all the apologists, probably wouldn't buy a lot between CR1 and FR, even if they were good ole down-to-earth Appalachians, with a car parts lot, and a commercial grow op, next door. I just don't think they constantly need to be defended for how they chose to live their lives.

I guess I got lucky with a good fit. I slip off my inside shoes and put on my barn boots any time I go outside when it's this muddy. I live near the river so that's pretty much of the time in the winter. Impossible to till the ground like this.

Good thing about barn boots, they defect snake bites. Probably not as good as Kevlar but you should have seen the size of the copperhead that popped the side of my boot.

So I wear them outside after that. With one kidney can't take chances.

They will leave blisters if you don't wear socks. But other than the time I left out socks I haven't gotten a blister. My current pair is a little uncomfortable where the dog chewed the top, but they don't slow me down. .

So point being if they wore barn boots I think they could have maneuvered around effectively to do the crimes.

Does it say they were all the same size? It's not inconceivable 4 related adults wore a similar size, at least the related guys. My menfolk all wear about the same size. But maybe not me. Maybe AW already had some. If so why 4 pair? Another killer, although they seem sure it's the Fearsome Foursome.

Where does it come from JM wore the same type shoe, or is this speculation that Ws were trying to frame JM by footgear?

It was said two types of casings were found, it doesn't mean one or more of them were not from CRsr shooting back. That could be the case in my opinion...
JMO,They could be a decoy.

Iridized, is there a link or was that confirmed earlier? Did it involve an actual discharge of a weapon?
Sorry for the delayed response; loading up the boat for our annual sail to Belize. I've been informed that it's anchor's up in three minutes so will have to get back to you later this afternoon/evening depending on the sat link. I believe I got it from a People Finder search in the beginning of this case.

Plus a prior conviction for violence with a firearm.
When the bodies was first found James Manley was questioned by LE about when he first found Dana if he had walked up and around her body, there where footprints like his shoes but if you go back and check the news reports James said he could not go inside the mobile home afraid of what he might see, he couldn’t even go rescue Hanna’s little baby, the killers had to have some kind of shoes like James.

I’m not trying to nit pick or give you a hard time, I’ve just never seen that reported anywhere. There was an early report that JM saw DR’s legs and heard the baby crying and he backed up outta the house because he didn’t want to find his niece like that. I’ve just never seen any reports of foot prints. The article about seeing his sisters legs was soon edited just after being published. I can’t link it so it’s JMO as to what I read. Not to be considered fact.

Not everyone thinks as you do. I, for one, would be most upset if someone were to have what looks like a junkyard next door or down the street. It certainly would affect the property value of the surrounding properties. Then again, I would never purchase property in an area that did not have zoning and code enforcement up to MY standards. To each his own.

And that is your choice. We live in America (thank God), where we can all kinda make our choices, within reason, as to how we want to live. I don't want close neighbors. I like to crank up the music, get loud and get red sometimes. Love the country. I think your neck of the woods is just beautiful though and love to visit the area when I'm in the state. :)

JOHNNYBB Great catch!! editing to add, If the perps did use shoes similar to JM's, they would still have to account for wear pattern. Who/why intentionally wears a brand new pair of shoes to commit a crime? I've read every killer makes 26 mistakes.
Real sharp turn here: Anybody recall GWIV's attorneys asking for bond because of lack of criminal history and "because of his cooperation"...
I know I read those words.

I recall Clark was the attorney for the Ky. court appearance of GW. Maybe doesn't practice in Ohio? I'm just guessing. Maybe he bowed out too.

Does the senior GW ever have a pleasant look on his face? His mugshot, whew! Not much different than the pic of both families on that imgur link. If I had to pick a mastermind based on looks alone ...

To almond - Thanks. I hit the hay right after my last post.
