Dana's house with the red garage is on Union Hill.

Kenneth was staying in a travel trailer on Left Fork.

Bobby Jo discovered Chris Sr., Gary, Frankie and Gilley. Her older brother, James Manley, found his sister before he backed out of the trailer, where he assumed his niece, Hanna Rhoden, and his nephew, Chris Rhoden were, family members said.

This suggests that J. Rhoden did not find Hanna and Chris, but he assumed them to be there. Was it LE who found them first?
I do not understand why JR did not check immediately on Hanna & Chris. They could have been alive but heavily wounded.

Because these things are silly. You buy diapers before renewing your tag and registration.

They also had salvage vehicles and driving one into town might not be a big issue for them. These things are low on the priority list for people that were poor.

Do you really think they were poor? Serious question, as I'm just not seeing that.
ETA: I know a few families that don't register, don't keep insurance on their vehicles, etc. They're not poor by any means, they're just a bit rebellious and think they're above the law.

They haven't released any times of death as far as I know. I think this is key information into what happened. Where was the first crime scene? We know pretty much the order in which they were found but not the order in which things occurred.

But I think the tod is not gonna mean much - I do not think 18 seconds between shots is gonna tell us a lot - it can not be like they went into one house killed somebody and came back in 4 hours --liver cooling is pretty slow IMO

Well, so all week I've been thinking that red garage was property Kenneth lived on. SMH I knew he lived in a camper, and it didn't make sense to me he was living in it, instead of the mobile home.

Since the bed is on the right side that connects to the trailer hitch for moving it.. "looking up" and seeing him in bed makes sense. It is like a loft bed.

This. While my tags were always valid, I had a roommate with plates from WI that had expired 3 years ago, he worked at a farm in the country, he never cared because he never encountered police on his way to or from work.

Driving salvage vehicles randomly is included Im sure, to tag and insure every car is expensive.

There were plenty of times we would insure our car at plate renewal and cancel it for another year because the cost of insuring the car for a year was more than what we had bought the car for. Especially if you are someone that does have multiple traffic related tickets, your insurance is going to be higher. Paying 200 a month for insurance is a lot when you have a family to feed, kids to take care of, electric to keep on, etc.

I have still another theory on this being a inside job.

Here goes my theory. Perhaps a relative or neighbor was a mole. This person could have feigned a friendship/romantic bond. The mole became a confidant to the family member. Perhaps the lure of some quick cash in exchange for harmless intelligence gathering was sufficent motivation.

Perhaps the mole was duped. The mole thought they were gathering intelligence for a competitor to sabotage or move in on the Rhode's pot operation. When in reality the perps sought to irradicate the entire family.

I've never seen a drug charge coded as traffic anywhere in the state of Ohio. I'll look back through them and see.
How on earth would he be expected to know a department he's run for less than a year charged someone with a crime 16 years ago?

Cause you know he checked all that before he did the presser.

I saw on one thread when someone looked up specifics on many of them, it was listed as traffic but included drugs.

Oh yeah. There's no way close friends/family didn't know about the weed. The smell of pot is way too potent. But from what I hear about small towns, and family is that they usually cover for each other. It doesn't necessarily mean they're guilty of anything- except for lying about the pot. It's possible they're afraid for their own lives though and could be why they're keeping quiet.

And like I stated in my post, we know what they told MSM, we don't know what they told police. IF this turns out to be a drug related murder, there's no way that family will go on TV saying they knew about it. JMO. If BJM was at CRsr's everyday, she knew about it. Period.

Yeah it's amazing how it only took a few days from my opinion being swayed..i definitely didn't think cartel was a crazy thought but now I think that theory is close to 100% unlikely.

So now looking back at that press conference where they talked how sophisticated/etc it all was, that does surprise me now too..I know that was a big theme here earlier.

Maybe it just meant that the crime scene was covered up and obviously that the killer(s) tried to manipulate or make it look, however you want to say it. jmo.

Right but not with that particular sheriff. It was another Reader. His father maybe? He may have not went into detail but he said he personally had not dealt with the Rhoden's. At least that's what I remember from watching the presser.

Sure they were poor, they had cash, but they were living week to week at best.

I think the mobile homes gave the appearance of being poor, but looking at the big red garage, the big building at Chris', the nice campers at Kenneths, the nice vehicles, all the animals to feed, and all the property, no they weren't poor.

Hate to tell you but OMC members very rarely carry out an operation on their bikes, they do own cars & use them. They are also known to travel by foot if that is what is called for. I overheard my BIL talking a few years ago about trekking through a forest & a swamp by foot to take possession of something from a rival in another state. I quickly exited the room so I couldn't hear anything else said.
