Recap from Thursday:
special agent Heather Karl: assisted processing vehicles owned by JW; participated in recovery of body
Photos shown inside "workshop', red, A-frame tool holder contained firearms (handgun, shotgun, loaded rifle) . He was prohibited from owning guns
Local farmer Ken K (soybeans and corn on County Rd. 7) took the stand: found a weathered shovel along the road, fall 2016 (stepped on it and the handle popped up from the grass). Was questioned about the soil composition, replied it would depend on the farm.
Next was Jason Snyder of Ohio BCI. Was asked about the soil, but his job here was to collect and submit evident, not to test.
Snyder took DNA samples from JK and Worley's brother, tire standards/casts, handcuffs, ball gags, rope, among other items.
11 photographs by BCI agent Saray (July 22) were shown of JW's physical condition upon custody. "red dot with linear mark" on triceps, mark on right shoulder, scratches on elbow, mark on right side of neck, scratched finger.
Shortly after taking the photos and DNA from Worley, he learned a body had been found, and responded to that site. First was to clear an area to work it. His duty was "logistics and clearing", not digging on that day.
Last was Kent Roth of Farmers & Merchants State Bank .... activity on 3 bank accounts linked to Worley (Personal, business, and his mother's --he was Power of Attorney for her). Average balance when opened Sept 2014 to Aug 2016 was @ $10. No significant deposits/withdrawals. Used it for small purchases at Country Corral truck stop and a diner in Delta betw. July 19 - 21, 2016.
Mother's account, linked to a debit card in JW's wallet, made purchases from Wicked Temptations (lingerie) -- violet panties found in barn were purchases from here.
