OH - Spencer and Monique Tepe found shot to death at home 2 children unharmed, Columbus, 30 December 2025 *ex-husband arrested*

I agree…it seems farfetched. But the condo purchase and the docket date are both in June, I believe. What if he just sold the Va house and made a nice profit on it. Perhaps a mutual friend mentioned it.

Perhaps she had helped with the down payment. If she walked away at the time because she wanted quickly out, could she come back?

Doesn’t seem that it would be legal.
I checked Zillow, maybe someone can check something more official? One sale as @kwins said above 2020 for 271k and Last sale was in 2021 for 349K
Still doesn’t tell you how much equity was in it , we can only go by his disclosure in div doc.

Here's the other malpractice suit, the one alleging MM was the supervising surgeon during a procedure that left an 8.6 inch piece of medical equipment in someone's leg. It is set to go to trial July 2027 so it is an active malpractice lawsuit. I haven't seen this anywhere else yet.

They were unable to serve him and one of his former colleagues claimed he basically just up and "disappeared" mid 2025.

Even if he didn't say it, this was probably her first thought when she realized what was happening. Will he hurt the children.
JMO, but I think it will come out that neither had the opportunity to know what was happening.

I did notice all the “ unknowns” tho.
That might tell you something
Did he keep her in the dark about finances?

I think every mother, and father as well, who is in this crisis situation would have that fear.

Your helpless children in the other room and a maniac ready to kill, already inside your home.

In addition, since this wasn’t a stranger who randomly chose their home, but instead is Monique’s rejected ex-husband, the children are of course the living embodiment of Monique having sex with a different husband.

Still, though, their first child was already four—— why now, why now? Especially since the recent divorce action seems to be automatic and not indicative of something new.

Beyond all the natural reasons to be so relieved that the children were spared, they’ll also grow up and still be the representation of Spencer and Monique Tepe.

Two children who will grow into adulthood and will eventually keep their parents’ names alive, though the one-year old will have no memories of them.

I hope the son and daughter grow up to look exactly like their parents. Hopefully MM will be found guilty and in prison. I hope if that happens and he comes up for parole someday, I REALLY wish that it will be like looking at Spencer and Monique.

Im sure it’s different in Canada, I was wondering about capital gains but her name was never on it , was it? According to the divorce doc anyway.

He's pleading not guilty and will defend himself against these charges, according to his lawyer during the hearing today.

Innocent until proven guilty, but I do trust the cops have the right man.
However; they now have to prove it….so hopefully they have their ducks in a row.
Pleading not guilty…yikes.
There seems to be no mental health concerns raised yet…

Edit; having said that, this is obviously very premeditated so maybe that ship has sailed…

"McKee remained silent in handcuffs and a yellow prison jumpsuit throughout the hearing Monday, while his public defender attorney said he intended to plead not guilty."
Mckee's neck is thick, maybe it's genetic - makes me wonder if he lifts?

Well ST was found next to the bed, so it looks like was getting out of bed. So he perhaps knew what was happening. Even if a mother is dying, she is thinking about her young children.

But I hope you are right.

The autopsy should tell us more. I question whether the killer will give us the real story of what happened.

By all rights this killer will never ever be considered for parole.

How do we know this is the correct Michael D. McKee?

This one sounds more significant and new to me, too. The timing (filed November 2025) fits. The other one was not something he’d worry too much about, I think. Good find!

I have the same hope but suspect it wasn’t quick and clean.
Yes. Usually the point of a face to face confrontation is for the victim to see the killer and understand who and why the murder is happening. Even if for only a few seconds.

But if the killer didn't turn on the lights or say anything, he wanted it to be anonymous, and just wanted the victims dead.

Perhaps he had been stalking or harassing the Tepes. So tormenting them had already taken place.

He gives a more youthful appearance now than he did in the wedding photos. And articles are commenting on his “hulk like” appearance.

The details of the complaint sound correct for a supervising vascular surgeon. And the geographical location (Vegas) fits. Not definitive proof, I know.
