Have you fired one inside a home that is kind of like the proximity of those homes to each other. I feel it would be somewhat hard to hear that in another house, especially if asleep but I have never done that so I could be way off.

With neighbors sleeping or some noise in their house possibly going on at the time, it may just sound like a musted shot if they heard anything. That many shots if heard even faintly by someone, may raise some type of suspicion though. Might not be enough that anyone considered it was a gun being shot in the house. I know of a case that a homemade silencer/suppressor was used to murder two people and the person in another bedroom did not even wake up in the same house. There were multiple shots also in that case. That person was also killed after the other 2 people had been killed.
