ohhh the plot thickens....There are probate documents on Bobby's fathers will (he changed it after Bobby went missing) I am having troubles reading some of it....Any help? That could be a motive.. Wife (Starlet Jamison) of Bobbys father, has Bobby and his family killed knowing that her soon to be divorced husband is about to die and she would get nothing. She has filled probate to be the executor of his will. How convinient.

I can't comment on each and every document, however, in a nutshell, Bobbie Dean and Scarlet Jamison had a trust document that they established at some point in the past. [ I saw some reference to a divorce having been filed and that Scarlet was now an ex-spouse] Scarlet filed papers with the court to probate the will which would establish the value of the estate. The actual money would go to the trust to be distributed eventually according to the terms of the trust document. I assume she filed this either because the trust was never revoked or she was standing in the shoes of her missing son and granddaughter.

Scarlet was named the special administrator of the estate, however, Bobbie Dean's brother Jack Raymond filed papers contesting same and the order was vacated and set down for a hearing. Jack Raymond is claiming that Bobbie Dean had a subsequent will and that the value of the estate was about half a million dollars.

Looks like some of these Okies had some money!

It looks like Bobby Dean filed for divorce on 9/24/08. Then Starlet filled for a protective order 11/4/08 (which it looks like it was dismissed), then the decree of dissolution of marriage was 8/17/09, and then there are some odd contempt charges. Definitly some bad blood going on.

Marriage to Scarlet dissolved on Aug 17, 2009, the Bobbie Dean Jamison's only son and granddaugher are last seen October 8, 2009, Bobbie Dean dies in Dec 2009, ex-wife Scarlet files papers to be named the special administrator of the estate.

I saw somewhere that the Trust was the seller of a property that went for $350k.

One thing I'd like to know is Scarlet Jean's maiden name. I did not see it in any of the divorce items online but they were no viewable (probably since they are family court docs). Then again after 44 years she is probably not going to take back her maiden name.

Ok, a couple more questions... Are we sure the hunters saw the Jamison family in the truck that day? Maybe the Jamisons were kidnapped long before they dumped the truck at that location, why else would they leave their coats, wallets, ect. in the truck? It was only 10 days from the day the Jamison's were reported missing to the police and when Bobby Dean Jamison (father) changed his will. Makes me think he had some inside information.

Actually, maybe there was nothing sinister in making that change. I assume Bobbie Dean changed the will 10 days after son, d-i-l and granddaughter disappeared.

Could be that given his divorce and their sudden disappearance, Bobbie Dean say "oh s--t" I need to change my papers, more from the standpoint of a reminder to get Starlet off the will. I can't say without actually reading it who would have benefitted from the change. Apparently Bobbie's brother filed papers claiming that he had a new will that replaced the one that Starlet probated.

Like they always say follow the money.............We have three people missing most likely murdered, and the change of a will 10 days later, who would benefit from that? Hate to say who I would think....brothers, sisters?

Hard to see, but the LWT that Jack produced is dated October 27, 2008, so Bobby Dean didn't change it as a result of the disappearance of his son and family in 2009.

Then when mtrooper said it was changed 10 days later, that was in error?

I am trying to conceputalize this trust thing. I don't know the details of the trust, but people usually set these things up to try to avoid estate taxes and the like. I am assuming that under the terms of the trust, all of the joint property either was transferred to the trust while they were still alive or was supposed to be transferred to the trust upon the death of one of the elder Jamisons. Under the terms of the trust, the ultimate distribution would have taken place upon the death of the surviving spouse and Bobby Jamison would have been the final beneficiary being the only child of Bobbie Dean and Starlet Jean Jamison.

Say for example, Bobby, Sherilyn and Stormy died in a car accident before the death of the surviving spouse, then their shares probably would have reverted back up to the surviving spouse, in this case Starlet.

So it would appear that Starlet would have been the biggest beneficiary of the premature deaths of Bobby, Sherilyn and Stormy if the trust was still in effect.

Well the court site is down for scheduled maintenece....But I am 100% sure that what I read yesterday (which I could only see page one for some reason) he stated that he was divorced from Starlet and that he had no surviving spouse, and it also mentioned that he was unsure if he had surviving children due to his son being reported missing on Oct. 18th. So it HAD to be after Bobbys dissappearance. I thought that it was his will, but I will check and post when the site comes back up. I think Starlet had the most to gain if she didn't know that he had changed his will after the divorce. With both of his surviving child and grand child out of the way, and her thinking that she has not been excluded from the will, she then would be the beneficiary. Right? I am not a lawyer, just thats how I would think it would be. Starlet and Bobby Sr. were both VERY familiar with the court system, they had sued and been sued MULTIPLE times.

You may be onto something with this will, it would not be the first time someone went missing for family money. The thing is as well is that all of Bobbys family would need to be gone in order to collect as if the child was still alive it would probbally go to her...

So I called the courts help desk and apparently the site is going to be down at least the rest of today. She told me to try back over the weekend or on monday. And I am not sure if Starlet is Bobby's bio mom or not. I thought that someone posted earlier that they had been married for 40 years, and Bobby is 44 so it very well could be a different mother....Hmm I will keep digging, I am also trying to find out Starlet's last name.
