Let's think about this. We've been asking why anyone would abduct/kill a whole family. Think about how the circumstances of drawing up a new will changes the situation.

If someone knew Bobby Dean was dying, he or she might have no idea that a new will would be made, or that a will made given the circumstances of the family's disappearance could go unchallenged. The assumption might have been that he would not make a change, hoping that the family would be FOUND or that the contingencies in the will (if the heirs predeceased him) would just kick in. Most wills have these contingencies, e.g., if the principal heir dies or at the same time as the person with the will, there are clauses that say what happens next. My dad's will had a complex clause about what would happen if he and my mother died at the same time, etc. Maybe someone wanted the family out of the way as heirs, but not definitively dead. Hence the disappearance. Is the estate big enough for this sort of machinations?

I don't think the family is in a bunker in an undisclosed location. They are dead IMO.

As for whether the estate is sufficiently large? I think I estimated the entire estate to be worth about $500k.

Dollars and cents are all relative. If you got nothing, then a $25,000 life insurance policy sounds like alot. If you already own a home worth $250k, then risking the death penalty for a fractional share of $500k does not sound like a great trade-off.

However, if a person were of the belief that he or she would get the entire $500k, then I can see someone having some incentive to do it. These types often use hired hands to do the work and usually get caught eventually. Just imagine if the plan does not go right and the money goes elsewhere, then you got some unhappy unpaid "independent contractors".

yeah but that will was executed in October 2008, when the divorce was still pending. He clearly did not want Starlet or Bobby Dale to get any money.

In this will, if Stormy died before Bobby Dean then his brothers Jack Raymond and Amos Eugene got 50-50.

I believe they are dead, too. I also believe Jack Raymond would be the one who benefits the most. Not Starlet.

It is sad to think that little Stormy was a half million dollar baby at the time she "disappeared".

So reading along in the will documents it seems that Starlet is Bobby's mother .. Why has there been no plea from that woman ?

It would be my opinion that Bobby Deans estate is worth far more then $500,000. I will go back and see if records are still available for the land and business he owned. When I was reasearching it before one of the properties that I located if I remember correctly was located next to a "big box store chain" as I like to call them ..:) which in return that in itself would make the property valuable like maybe close to a million or more. Let me see if I can find it and I will link it here.
Brb I hope it might take a little while...

I have found two properties industrial and commercial owned by Bobby Dean:

Ok this property here is industrial and sits on 5 acres of land, they show it as having land value of 283,250 , which if you know anything about realestate it is worth much more then this if you were to market it. It is undeveloped. Here is the link to the sales around this property

-----------------------------------------------------------------
Now this second property is the one I am talking about being worth quite a bit of money. It sits right amist Home Depot, Burlington Coat Factory, Nissan, Wallmart just down the road etc...That makes this property highly wanted due to the exposure of the other big stores. Here is a link to where the property is located from the tax site mapping:

http://oklahoma.latitudegeo.com/imf...e&qry=OKLAHOMA_SQL.PARCEL.PIN='1736132308890'

Now here is the link to a google map showing the property in ariel view, it shows Enterprise Rental as the location, but the property itself sits right next to the car rental place actually on both sides and behind it:

http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&i...796,-97.504971&spn=0.009026,0.022638&t=h&z=16

Here is the link to the tax site for this 2nd specific property it is commercial and sits on roughly Acres: .5382:

Here is a link to property sales for this area surrounding this property:

I would think given this propteries location that it is worth a pretty penny at the least a half a million I would say more especially if you get another large chain that wants it the price will go up tremedously. You need to look at the sales of the surrounding properties to get an idea that link is provided above.

I would have to say Bobby Deans estate is worth a min. of $ 850,000 not to include his home or other assest he may own, this of course is jmo....

Have been reading all along but have not posted in a long time.
Just wanted to say "good sleuthing" to all of you. Interesting info --good job and kudos.
This is just all such a sad mystery to me as why the family has not been located.

  • #171
Thank you, mystic.

I noticed Starlet's name is on both the properties. I wonder if she will get to keep them?

I based my number on what I read in some of the court papers.

If Bobby Dean and Starlet still had property that was jointly owned even after the divorce, and that is a big IF, it is possible that pursuant to the deeds she took the property free and clear and it would not pass through probate.

Just to chime in - haven't been following in awhile: from my own experience with various family issues, folks come out of the woodwork to wiggle their way into one red cent. Considering the range of reported SES among the Jamison's relatives, I can see more than one person who stood to gain what in their eyes would be a substantial amount of money.

You maybe right but I would think his interest in the property would become Madyson's since she was the heir to the estate, or the brothers
I think I read that the divorce was still ongoing and had not been settled yet as of his death. That was in her papers when she filed on the will..

These are strangely worded documents. I saw in the petition Starlet filed with the court she said she "was the spouse to Bobbie Dean Jamison, for 44 years prior to his death, their divorce case is still ongoing". Yet on page two of the petition it says "surviving spouse None".

It is possible the marriage had been dissolved but the property not yet divided, hence the case was still pending. I can't explain it otherwise.

Not real familiar with the US legal terminology regarding divorce proceedings, but a search of court docs shows Bob Dean Jamison petitioned for divorce, and it appears to me it was finalized prior to his death:

08-17-2009 DECR - 10696201 Aug 18 2009 9:53:48:390AM - $ 0.00
DECREE OF DISSOLUTION OF MARRIAGE **JAF**
Document Available at Court Clerk's Office

You have to scroll down a smidge

Hmmm. What motive might there be to kill a little girl about to inherit a big pile of money?

  • #178
Do we know the company name of the wells in that area where the truck was found ?

Mystic, I would also like to know the answer to your question. According to the divorce papers, they both owned shares (or leases) in Kirkpatrick, Chessapeake,Sunoco, DCP Midstream, and Bearcat (Grady county) oil companies.

Starlet also has oil leases from her father. She had these before her and Bob Dean were married.

Is there any way to find out if Bob Dean was doing any construction work on one of the properties he owns, before his death?
