Topix Update:

There's a rather impressive, lengthy series of comments (six in all) by "Thank You" addressed to Sherrilyn Jamison's mother, Connie, posted today on the Missing Eufaula Family - KFOR Topix thread:

http://www.topix.net/forum/city/eufaula-ok/TAG238Q0RV9NNM07K/p7

The poster seems to feel there is much amiss with land sales in the region:

"Had I not discovered this tragedy we would be on our way there right now completeley ignorant of the danger we could have been putting ourselves in. That gives me the creepiest feeling."

Well worth a look-see.

ANOTHER TOPIX UPDATE/FOLLOW-UP:
In re: the post above (MeoW333 posted the entire series of Topix posts on the subject back on page 4 here, #93), I found this today on Topix/Eufaula, posted on Sunday:

I found what someone going by wfgodot wrote about my post on websleuth. Update. I put out my own ad out to warn people who might be going to look at land without being told exactly where it is in that area about the disappearance. I got a response.

"Hello. I have also been in contact with a guy (name omitted)about some land in Wilburton Ok. It is very remote and he says there are no pics or gps coordinates to use. Seems very strange to me . Is this the same piece of property? Thanks for the post on the missing family …it is a real strange story."

The name I omitted is not the same name as anyone we spoke to. I just found it odd that my first response to the ad was someone else being asked to look at land up there without knowing the exact location.

Hi mtrooper.

When I click on the link, it brings up another window. It's called Getimage. Down at the bottom of this window are page numbers. See if this will help.

I might be able to accept a bogus land deal/swindler but for the fact that 1. cash was left in the vehicle undisturbed and 2. Stormy was set to inherit half a million dollars if she outlived her grandfather.

Just another avenue of exploration in a case fraught with "what if"s.

OK, here's an "out of the box" thought. What if Mom & Dad felt Stormey was at risk of harm due to the inheritance, so they faked their disappearance to keep her safe until Grandpa dies and things are more settled? That's about the only thing I can come up with, and I know I'd go to the ends of the earth to hide my child if I thought he was in danger.

Or perhaps mom and pop just got sick of dwelling in a world of lawsuits and paperwork. After all, they were allegedly thinking about living in the outback in a modified shipping container anyway. It's not like they seemed to be relishing further contact with the world of courts.

"out of the box" is not always a bad thing. Grampa is now deceased so they could reappear now if that is what happened.

Now here is an interesting twist - if the later will is valid, then Bobby Dean's brothers can't take the money unless and until Stormy is proven dead. I don't know what the surrogate would do out there, but unless someone 'finds' Stormy's body, the money might get held up for 7 years until she is declared dead.

So if the later will is held to be valid, I'd be curious to see how long it takes to find Stormy's body.

Interesting thought, I bet a anonymus tip comes in as to the whereabouts of Stormy if they will hold up the estate for 7 years.

Ok, help me out here. I am going to contact LE, can anyone help me with a list of questions that might help us get this solved. There are a lot of questions that I would like to ask (how much money was found, ect.) but I don't think the answers to these questions would really help us solve the case.

1- Exact location where truck was found.
2- Is the property where the truck was found a piece that is for sale, and they were looking at to buy?
3- Who/ When was the last person to see the Jamison family (I know an article said a hunter saw them but if he didn't know what they looked like than how did he know it was them)
4-

Great questions, mtrooper.

I would like to know who told LE the Jamison's were going to look at land?

What is the name of the land owner who saw them 8 days earlier?

  • #194
Who gets the money that was found in the truck, if the Jamisons are never located?

  • #195
Has anyone sent any of this will information to LE or FBI ?

I agree .. I was just on the OSBI site and there was no mention not even a word about this family, so I sent a email to them asking them why, I thought they were brought in on this case am I mistaken ?

Here is part of clause 28, taken from the Jamison's divorce hearing held April29, 2009.

28. Request for Stay. Based upon the special appearance of the parties' son
and suggestion of stay, the court enters a Restraining Order Prohibiting either party from disposing of, encumbering, secreting, altering, transferring or in any manner diminishing the assets awarded for a period of (10) days to allow their son to file proper action in the court of jurisdiction of any claims he intends to pursue.... Filed August 14, 2009.

Could be mom or dad told Bobby Dale, "Sure, pick out any land you want!" Then set the family up to disappear.

Also there the day of the hearing was, Jack Raymond.
