Oh, one more thing on the above: the GPS coordinates of the Jamison vehicle (or "good ol' 35.006097,-95.200653," as I like to think of them) are just about perfectly equidistant between Eufaula and Poteau - a nice arranged-meeting place for picking up and paying for illegal substances: 43.5 miles from Eufaula, 41.1 miles from Poteau; driving time for each: 1 hr 22 min. from Eufaula, 1 hr. 10 min. from Poteau.

Look at land one day, go back the next to take care of this little aspect of land buying:

Okay, I think that sums up known points and surmises of the "drug deal gone bad - marijuana" theory. I'm pretty sure Poteau is a busy little center of misdeed. I'd conjecture drugs may have been involved - knowledge of them, at least, leading to murder - in both the unsolved Neff and Rilee-Wilson cases, and I'm still interested in the provenance of Pocola Skull Man's, um, skull.

Hey Guys,

Is there anything I can do. Hubby has cancer but surgery has been put off until Dec. I can do some leg work and possibly so look at properties? Poteau/Pocola/Red Oak are all in our territories.

We have retired, (I Know) we're not old enough but we are anyway lol

Good point on the use of the definite article "the" there. I reckon that the "the" there (I love to string those th's together!) referred to $$$ for their mortgage payment on the Eufaula residence as, somewhere or another - FtJ, I think - and of course allegedly - we learned that this was a continuing dilemma. Thus, the "the" there needn't have referred to a new land buy in them thar hills per se. (Or should I say, per thay.)

Follow the money. It will lead directly to the solution of the mystery herein. Cui bono? Cui bleeping bono?

* Jamisons ripped off grower's crop?

The first road leads to witness protection or death; the second one doesn't have even a slight protective-type
benefit if discovered by the outraged crop-grower. And either or both might involve the hills and forests of SE OK.

After all this time of researching the missing Jamisons, I really believe they were up to their necks in the drug business. Either working for LE or the "druggies" themselves. This is the only scenerio that makes any sense.

LE could very well be setting up another bust. If they are, there is no way they would say the Jamisons were involved with drugs.

It all comes back to the cash in the truck and the possible equal, or like, amount in the missing briefcase.

I never have bought the theory that that money was to "pay for land."

The drug theories seem to be looming large lately (I like alliteration, too, woof), whether it was buy or sell on the part of the J's. Actually either of those PLUS encounter with a grower or chemist, who may have heard (or been told by a J) that they were looking to buy land on the mountain. Growers/chemists probably aren't the friendliest types to welcome newcomers to the mountain. IOW, they didn't necessarily stumble onto a grow/lab, but whomever they met was a grower/chemist.

Witness protection program for informants sounds good, too, and I prefer that scenario over the aforementioned. At least then, theoretically, all 3 would still be alive.

ETA: Forgot to ask...have any of their closest family/friends had any harassment or "close calls" since the disappearance? Especially the 2 moms, and Sherilynn's BFF and father, and the BFF's parents and children?

Yeah, I guess the only reason I picked "left of own accord" is that, that way, they would still be alive. My first thought (here repeated for the eighth time, lol) was definitely drugs. I think that the possibility of their having gone into witness protection after informing on, let us say, a grower, is probably less than the possibility of, let us say, their having ripped off a Ouachita Nat'l Forest high grade marijuana crop; and unfortunately, if that were the case, they wouldn't need witness protection, they'd need witless protection. (Which, if we follow one line of interpreting the family and its dynamics, they did need desperately anyway.)

And maybe somebody got a federal ticket payable to CVB after a parking violation whilst scouting out something in the woods.

As usual, I will close by saying, "I DON'T HAVE THE SLIGHTEST IDEA REALLY."

I'd just get a big kick out of seeing them out at WalMart, alive and happy.

We could kill several birds with one stone by attributing the misdeeds to a "church-going, mountain-dwelling white supremacist drug dealer." I guarantee you, we have those here in Oklahoma. Maybe even tack on the phrase "...who was once married to Sherilyn" and still be accurate.

Funny you should mention that. Have you looked into the people who are friends of the church? I decided the family trees are more like family forrest in that part of OK.

I keep seeing the follow the money theme. There is money missing,and Jack got some money and I dont know where the money that Starr got from the truck went. And I still dont know what happened with their house.
Is there insurance on it ? How does it work when people are missing?
