You mean Kryon's dad?? Isn't Kyron's father's FB display picture the missing flyer? Makes me think he is back from camping - IF that's who you mean.

Or you mean the step-bro's dad?

:waitasec:

Sorry, going to re-read and see if I can't put it together.

Kyron's father wasn't camping. It was Kyrons step-brothers father who went camping. I haven't heard anything about him being back or not yet.

I think IF he was abducted, whoever took him most likely knew a back entrance to take him out of..therefore, no one saw it.

That is definitely a possibility, but so much tougher in a small, rural school. You would think someone would have seen them, however, a predator can always seize an opportunity, no matter how small.

Perhaps it is another parent or member of another family, or a janitor? My kids went to small community school and most people would be recognized, and they wouldn't be considered 'strangers' in the kids eyes.

Does anyone know what that building is that is located in the back corner of the parking lot?

Did anyone ever figure out why the stepbrother lives with the grandparents?

Not that I am accusing Step mom, BUT.... Have we not seen this type of thing before? Where mom appears to be the perfect mom, and it turns out to be the total opposite?

What is concerning me is this. Step mom took him to school, MADE sure to snap a picture, and then IMMIDIATLY placed it on her facebook page. That to me has some red flags, why would she post it so quickly? Why would she not wait until he was at least at home?

To me it sounds like she was setting up an "alibi" of how perfect her family is. So the authorities would not focus on her, because she is sooooooo involved..

IMO

No you are not!! I totally agree with you.

Found this link on FB and the headline just rubs me the wrong way.

'Normal Day' Planned For Skyline School Monday
http://www.kptv.com/news/23811673/detail.html

That school is frickin' nuts if they think life will just return to normal on Monday. The fact that a student there went missing off of their school property (this being the key why nothing should return to normal) and still hasn't been found and an abduction hasn't been ruled out (and, seems like the primary focus right now) all point to nothing "going back to normal".

As a parent, there is NO way I'd send my child to school tomorrow knowing that they haven't determined how this happened and what happened..and most importantly, where is Kyron.

I also wonder why Kyron lived with his dad and apparently has since he was an infant? Makes me wonder if there is custodial issues or what led to Kyron living with dad and only visiting mom?

well i see we're into the blame the parents stage.

and franky, i dont know what behavior is 'appropriate' when your child is missing. posting on facebook and telling the people there 'not to believe what you hear' is a lot diffrent from say, spraying silly string on your sons grave or partying at night clubs without reporting your child missing.

i stick by my belief that something went down at school. and i think the kid knew who this person was and didnt find it strange to go off with him.

The one at the back left I believe is a covered pavillion/recess area. I don't know what that is at the back right. Looks like a shed maybe?

Multnomah County sheriff Dan Staton said Kyron was last seen by a fellow student near his classroom by the south entrance of the school in the late morning hours of Friday.

Kyron and his stepmother, Terri Moulton Horman, attended a school science fair that morning and she watched him walk to his classroom at about 8:45 a.m, deputies said.

Has there been any mention of the location of the family's home? I'm trying to get an idea of how long a trip it is between the house and the school. TIA

I agree it was most likely someone he knew. But, whether that some person is a parent, relative, friend, etc. remains to be seen.

Yeah no kidding. I'd be getting the lesson plans and homework from the teachers and schooling my child at home until it was resolved.

Step brother has a different Dad... Terri's son from a previous relationship. Kyron and his baby sister share the same Dad who Kyron's step mother Terri is currently married to.

Probably a good idea to read post number 144 on this thread regarding comments about the family.....jmoo

I think they'll have more absences tomorrow than they would have had the swine flu hit that school.

No way would my son attend tomorrow, either. It's only a week or two til the end of school. My son would stay home until A) Kyron is found and the school is safe again or B) the beginning of next school year, and I'd tell them why.

Two security officers wouldn't make me feel any safer.

I don't understand why they are even going to have school tomorrow. There are way too many unanswered questions and could you imagine what the kids are going to be talking about tomorrow. These kids know something is wrong and the older kids definetly know that he is missing. This kids are likely going be scared to go to their own school

BBM. I've been wondering how many parents will send their kids to that school tomorrow. I don't think I could bring myself to send my kids.
