I think they'll have more absences tomorrow than they would have had the swine flu hit that school.
No way would my son attend tomorrow, either. It's only a week or two til the end of school. My son would stay home until A) Kyron is found and the school is safe again or B) the beginning of next school year, and I'd tell them why.
Two security officers wouldn't make me feel any safer.
I'd hope that by the age of seven Kyron knew better than that. He seems to me like quite the intelligent child.
Not that I am accusing Step mom, BUT.... Have we not seen this type of thing before? Where mom appears to be the perfect mom, and it turns out to be the total opposite?
What is concerning me is this. Step mom took him to school, MADE sure to snap a picture, and then IMMIDIATLY placed it on her facebook page. That to me has some red flags, why would she post it so quickly? Why would she not wait until he was at least at home?
To me it sounds like she was setting up an "alibi" of how perfect her family is. So the authorities would not focus on her, because she is sooooooo involved..
IMO
I think the south entrance is the front - it faces the garden and then the road and there is no parking lot there. And the playground, if I'm not mistaken. Did he go out to play after SM left?
I can't imagine how scared the other students are, particularly the younger ones. Can you imagine? I'm sure to them their school is now the stuff of nightmares and boogeymen. And there is no one who can tell the kids there isn't a boogeyman at their school and guarantee their safety. I feel so badly for the kids.

Has anyone ever used FB as an alibi?
Has there been any mention of the location of the family's home? I'm trying to get an idea of how long a trip it is between the house and the school. TIA
Makes me think that if they can put the publics mind at ease they will, knowing sooner is better ~ and better still to be able to say it was an isolated incident, IF that is the case.
Let's hope we hear something more soon, like the next presser would be a great time!
May the mystery be solved before school is to be back in session Monday morning.
i think it may say ALOT if the school is calling it regular day for classes, if it was a stranger abduction i would assume that the school and or LE would have bulletins regarding watch out for **** (you know whatever), but everything about this from the get go is jacked up so my assumptions i should just keep to myself.........
sorry
where are you little man????
Has anyone ever used FB as an alibi?
Yes!
"For 19-year-old Rodney Bradford, a simple Facebook status update turned into much more: a rock-solid alibi after he was accused of a crime."

Kelley, who lives about a mile and a half down hill, at the end of a winding, secluded country lane off Cornelius Pass, said police, federal agents, K-9 teams and helicopters scoured the area Saturday.
"We had two odd sightings of a vehicle on our road Friday," Kelley said. Around 3 p.m., he and a neighbor reported seeing a white pick-up truck with a female driver pull to the end of the long road, idle and then turn around. Then again at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a similar white pickup truck appeared, idled and when a neighbor loosed her dogs, eased away.
"A, it was strange to have a car there, any car there, that we didn't know, and B, it was strange to have a vehicle come down our dead-end road twice in the same day, hours after a little boy goes missing," said Kelley. "That's beyond rare."
