Cox said in her first interview that Ryan Payne was shot, not Ryan Bundy. She said Ryan P had been shot. Today she corrected that with she thought he had been shot in the wrist when he was adjusting the mirror or something like that. That was at the first stop he was supposedly shot, so was there a shot at the first stop? Possibly not.

I can't even keep track of what she's said. I'm still stuck on they were on the floor but watching the whole time.

Ryan Bundy was shot in the shoulder that night but not at the first stop.

So who was shot in the wrist while trying to prove he was unarmed? I don't know if she said first or second stop for that one.

Her story is all over the place and I'm sure not all of it is true, but I have to imagine that was the first time she'd been in a car chase with police, seen a man shot to death, and then had flash bangs thrown at the vehicle she was in. I'm surprised she can remember anything at all.

A spokesperson confirmed evangelist Franklin Graham spoke to #Oregonstandoff occupiers and to FBI. Wouldn't say if they were still talking.

Seriously, does anyone here truly believe those that were in the truck with LaVoy are going to be truthful? They had a well-documented agenda, more than a reasonable amount of firearms, public statements announcing they were prepared to die for their "cause," an open call to arms to every unhinged anti-government freak in the USA, and they took over (by force) a refuge and community in a state where none of them live.

Then, you have LE, that waited them out. Gave them every possible opportunity to surrender peacefully, let them come and go at will and attempted to negotiate with them numerous times.

It wasn't until the "militants" attempted to spread their toxic garbage to a neighboring community, where there were counter protesters waiting, that LE chose to put a stop to the idiocy - and all on camera.

IMO, this is a no-brainer, not a conspiracy.

Who knew if the truck had explosives? These people think they can do an armed standoff and, then, think that LEO are going to give them the benefit of the doubt. They cannot have it both ways. The officers have to ensure their own protection.

If the truck had explosives, they would have just crashed head-on into the road block, and there would have been a big epic fiery explosion, and a orange mushroom cloud going up into the sky, just like in the movies, and all the suspects and all the cops would be dead.

But that's not what anybody was expecting, and not what happened. If LE had expected that, they would have probably have done things a lot different. Because shooting a truck filled with explosives would probably not be a good idea.

IMO, LE would have had every reason to expect there were explosives in that truck and, for that reason, they would not have fired on it.

Why was Sarah even there? They never should have allowed her to ride with them. Was she their ace in the hole?

I agree, not everyday you are living on the edge with a group of armed people, possibly armed yourself, holding a refuge hostage & expect to be shot at or have a fellow militia member shot & killed...

It would take me at least a week to understand what all happened, clearly.

I guess I've been trying to put together what they think they saw instead of just saying they are lying. Was there a shot at the 1st stop?

Cox said Ryan Payne was shot, in her video two days ago, I think 2 times she said it. No mention of Ryan Bundy being shot who actually per MSM was shot in the shoulder and released. Minor injury or something. Today's video posted she's much more calm & rehearsed and states she thought Ryan Payne was shot adjusting the mirror or something but realized now he was not. Something like that.

I'll have to watch both again to pick up her exact words...one day. lol

I don't think they expected to be stopped. They thought this would be just like all the other times they were allowed to do whatever the hell they wanted. Even now they're talking about how LE should have just let Finicum through to go meet with the sheriff. Road blocks and laws are for suckers who don't understand the Constitution.

How many people have the choice to pick what law enforcement they will stop for?

Nah, not this one, we're going to this other one. With no consequences?

Watching the video of the truck driving off from the stop reminds me of how LA car chaises are.

Car chases have been an extremely common part of LE forever, and should be expected. LEOs should never resort to shooting suspects in a chase, unless the suspects are shooting at them, and merely possessing a firearm, should not be an excuse for a LEO to shoot a suspect. Shooting a suspect in a car chase not only endangers the officers, but also endangers any bystanders who might be hit by the out of control vehicle, or by stray bullets.

The best and safest way for LEOs to prevent or bring a car chase to an end is for them to stay inside their vehicles and block the suspect’s vehicle. LEOs who get out of their vehicles during a car chase needlessly endanger themselves. Which is what happened in this case.

I haven't seen yet or may have missed it - where was the Sheriff when all this was going down?

Me too. I've been so confused about someone being shot for waving his hands out the window. I didn't hear anything about the mirror. How would she know what Ryan Payne was doing?

I don't think I can listen to her again though.

The Sheriff was going to meet with them and others at John Day in Burns, from what the news said & the militia members, the evening LF was shot.

John Day is a city. It's in a different county and based on what's been said the sheriff there is more sympathetic to their cause.

I'm pretty sure John Day is a town near Burns, but in another county. It was the sheriff from John Day that invited them (or helped them coordinate) the meeting. It is not the same sheriff that is from Burns.

Oops sorry bluesneakers I was typing as you were posting.

Shawna is Sarah. imo

It's getting late but listening to Watchman News. Cliven phoned in & repeated his demands. The host cut him off but was polite. The host said they were trying to get to the truth of matters. Interesting. They are on a break for about 10 minutes.

The Sheriff in John Day has practically said he is one of the Patriots. Immediately, a deputy put in his bid for election day and I have no doubt the Sheriff currently in John Day will be out of a job. Boo Hoo!!
