Do you find it strange that neither Mrs Stipp nor anyone else heard anything like OP losing his self control?

Maybe he had the two-hour post-olympic event hysterical tantrum in silence?

Agreed Cottonweaver: Judge Greenland's language is stated as colloquial and the article is written for the layperson audience.
IMO his interpretation of SA law is woven into the case as he witnessed it unfold. He interprets it for the layperson along with his own opinion. Many are appreciative of his contribution in this case.
His high level of credibility and integrity, along with his ability to 'interpret' SA law for the layperson, have seen him sought for television commentary panels, Youtube videos and written media.
His approach is well considered IMO.
This is a layperson forum available to many different people with a variety of opinions who are free to comment on this case.

I agree Fuskier, WS threads are basically little communities, ideally where some constructive sharing takes place.

But it’s very similar to equivalent thread communities which “died a death” in familiar circumstances. Eg. Over here in the UK- the Digital Spy O.P. forum.

In fact the answers are all there on it’s pages, you’re all Websleuthers so you can certainly see how this example is instructive.

What happened to DS OP forum?
As good as place to start as any is here, and a few preceding pages before it

Compare the content previously, try here or any one of the earlier threads:
One of many examples http://forums.digitalspy.co.uk/showthread.php?t=1982917&page=518

And then to complete the answer look here, dating quite recently, from end June 2015:

......incredible.......with all that the intruder managed to control him/herself find the WC in the dark go in and lock the door behind them ............or was that Reeva !

??
Fear and the physiological responses it can trigger, can shape and influence the way someone responds in a panic situation. Inthis case it could explain some of the behaviour described by Pistorius.

Do you think, he had/has no Internet access during his jail time? I would think, Mr. Special Treatment had/has. :)

If he only in August comes here, then I have time to change my avatar .................. :D

Well, as he knew it was Reeva, it is hardly likely he was panicking! His problem is he has a foul temper and absolutely no control.

I think, he immediately would insult me in a way that he would be kicked out and the moderator would banish him. :D

If he knew it was Reeva, I am sure you are probably right. However, if he really believed there was an intruder, then some of the physical ways in which fear can manifest itself could be seen to fit with aspects of his description. Eg the tunnel vision focus on the location of the perceived intruder could explain to some extent why he didn't notice she wasn't in the bed.

......... tunnel vision could also explain how three out of four bullets hit their target .......!

Could it? Don't you mean x-ray vision?
I would have thought that the size of the cubicle, Reeva's initial position near the door, and her subsequent position on falling might have had more to do with why the bullets hit her through the door.

........so you do agree that he knew where she was situated......
