That is your interpretation. It tells me something about you. It will have no implication whatsoever. Uncle P is perfectly entitled to help him out. He would suddenly have been without employment. The fact that someone wished to be cynical about it is not surprising. Still looking for the article or comment in the press.

........you're still avoiding to produce a link........you just can't go about making statements implying the current situation without producing a link.....it's only normal.................as for the rest ? ...

What present situation? You have lost me yet again!

.....you said ........."housekeeper Frank who mysteriously has disappeared though I did read somewhere that Uncle Arnold was "looking after him". I bet he is!".................he is, as in the present !.....

In SA I am sure it is quite normal in these circumstances to step in and help the man out who would have lost his livelihood and if the report is true, and I have no reason to think it wasn't, he probably is still ensuring that he is gainfully employed. I cannot see Uncle Arnold letting him down. Looking after him in quotes is because it is what I read.

Whilst spending time Googling I came across this. More confirmation about OP’s nasty temper. I am not sure if we have seen it before.

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/bookreviews/11228271/Why-did-Oscar-Pistorius-pull-the-trigger.htm
As someone who wrote extensivelyabout the trial and travelled to South Africa to report on it for theTelegraph, I was surprised, for instance, to hear that Pistorius had beratedhis housekeeper, a Malawian man named Frankie Chiziweni, in front of anAmerican television crew. The team had arrived at Pistorius’s Pretoria homewhile the athlete was out, in advance of filming. But when the sprinter arrivedhome, he launched into a furious four-letter tirade against his housekeeper.
“With the cameraman and sound-manlooking on, he screamed 'What the f--- are you doing? Have I not told you athousand f------ times to close that garage door? Are you f------ mad?’ ”writes Carlin. It is a telling insight into the tempestuous nature of Pistorius.

....that's very interesting because the way i read it (which say's a lot about myself) is that if Franky had any secrets to tell it would be extremely risky to do so against his current employers nephew......no ?

BIB and red - absolutely no self control at all, and yet another example of how he could explode without warning.

Noooo.
"Looking after" means Arnold is paying for Frank's PTSD, after x years of domestic abuse living with OP:scared:

Yes, I have read that one before, but thanks for the timely reminder Bystander.

Are you sure John Carlin's judgement was not clouded by his hatred of OP?
Oh wait - his book was fairly sympathetic was it not - i read an excerpt and IIRC Fossil bought it

....in reference to Arnolds hospitality service.....to be quite honest i'm now lost as to whether or not it's true...........i'm going to go on the idea that it's rubbish made up by an out of story newspaper....in anycase i still think Franky is hiding something....

.....not at all.....if you are referring to the present situation which is how i perceived it.....i find that disturbing....you need to clarify or produce a link.....

Well I have found out that it was issued by a spokesman for the Pistorius family. Here is a post that I made on here last year. I didn't link it then but referred to it having been linked earlier in the thread. It had been suggested by several posters that maybe he went to somewhere beginning with S.

This is a post by one of our members who I am not going to name as you will start a witch hunt on he/she.

"My understanding is that Frank was immediately hustledout of the country - sent back to his home country of Surinam or Senegal (orsomeplace else that starts with an "S"). He supposedly gave one verybrief statement to police at the house on the night of the murder in which hesaid he had not heard anything at all, that he had slept through everything.

And yet, he was at the front of the house, presumably dressed in streetclothes, very early in the event. As in during the time the guards were there.

Then when police went to find him a week or so later to interview him more indepth, he was gone, gone, gone.

Since courts cannot usually serve subpoenas from one country to another, it'sbye-bye Frank. And yes, I think there was an exchange of money to insure thatFrank stays silent and stays out of South Africa. Which is blatant witnesstampering. And of course, which will never be able to be proved."

Most interesting !! A couple of hours ago I was reading one of the linksprovided here in the last couple of days and read a statement made by thespokesperson for the Pistorius family saying that Frank still works for thefamily. IIRC the statement was made in May, 2014.

Sooo, I wonder if the family owns property in "Surinam, Senegal, or someplace else that starts with an 'S.'

Frank was from Malawi. Maybe it is possible to track the Pistorius intereststhere.

Could be

but what we gonna do? Cleanse WS and every media source of every unproven insinuation, inference and allegation - it's going to be a big list of stuff to put in a can marked "Rubbish":

Reeva's suspiciously taken handbag
Carl's holding Op's phone for 24 hrs and synching it , changing password
The jeans outside the window
OP knew it was Reeva behind the door.........

Where will it end?

Indeed. I don't think hounding people for links is very nice (putting it ultra mildly), especially after they went to the extreme courtesy of offering to delete their original post and still the hounding continued. Requesting a link is commonplace, but this???

Even your response is rude.

Here is a link but it goes nowhere. Much as I thought would be the case. I haven't been back to trace the link in WS. I have spent enough time on this. If you are really keen to find a link that is still available, go ahead.

.......putting it ultra mildly a statement like that needs a link.......otherwise it shouldn't of been posted....

Yes we know your opinion on the matter Colin, you have expressed it many many many many times today. Thanks.

BTW during any of this did you once take it upon yourself to do your own research, I mean since you wanted the link(s) so badly? I only ask because I didn't see you post any links.

Yes, it's very interesting IB
I'm sure you know more on the Pistorius family holdings , having done that research, than me, it's clearly across a range of countries.

"Since Pistorius’ arrest for the alleged murder of his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp on February 14, the family has spared no expense hiring the best lawyers and reputation managers around.

According to company records, the lion’s share of the family businesses belong to Pistorius’ three uncles, Theo (67), Arnold (62) and Leo (51).

Over the years, the three brothers and their father have been involved in about 107 companies"

The Pistorius family would not comment on a request for clarification and confirmation of the scope and nature of their business interests.

Family spokesperson Lunice Johnston, from Vuma Reputation Management, said: “The family’s business interests are considered a private matter, which have no relevance to the very sad situation. Although we understand your motive for the article, it is really not applicable to focus on the family.

“They are still mourning and it would be insensitive towards the Steenkamp and Pistorius families if (this) should be discussed in the media.”

2013 article

ETA - obviously nothing new here, and we've read that before, but might be of interest to new posters etc. AND oscar will never need to look for a job with his family owning 120 companies across the world!
