No judgement handed down today then. As it was reserved there is obviously going to be more discussion between the SC judges which probably indicates this was not as one sided as it appeared.

Roux's explanation that OP 'knew' Reeva was in the bedroom because he spoke to her is based solely on OP's words - words that were missing from his affidavit when he said they'd both gone to sleep.

The Guardian below will have a summary soon. I wonder if any SA radio stations will have a panel of experts discussion now. That used to be interesting (when I could get the feed to work). So what does everyone think? I thought the judges seemed inclined against OP but it is hard to tell. Cards close to chest and all that.

On his twitter James Grant said a few days ago that his "best guess" for a ruling would be 2-4 weeks.

or maybe they want to be in agreement of their power/options around change of verdict [and being able to sentence] versus a retrial... a lot of the discussion seemed to be around that imo.

Essentially argument is: Roux - he was fearful, dolus excluded. Nel - state of mind irrelevant, look at objective facts.
