Can anybody please tell me if I can still follow Websleuths on Tapatalk? I've been having log in problems with Tapatalk. Don't want to miss anything from #Pistorius appeal. May the force be with Nel & Reeva's family.

This is very different to what I imagined. I thought Nel would present his side, then Roux, followed again by Nel and then questions from the judges. They're diving in from the word go. Nel and Roux will need to be at the top of their game today.

wow - didn't expect questions to start straight away,not knowing the format.
At least it's clear that all 3 so far have everything they need to. Bit bemused by Mthlantha ( sp) asking almost result of charge in Oscar case.

Glad I pasted all that Seekoie last night as they are straight on it.

We're underway. Prosecutor Gerrie Nel is addressing the court. Judge Lex Mpati has asked him a question to clarify the State's case.

[Time limits]
(1) If a matter has been set down for one day, subject to the presiding judge's directions, the time for argument shall not exceed -
(a) two hours for the applicant or appellant's main argument;
(b) two hours for the argument in answer; and
(c) a quarter of an hour for the argument in reply.

Oh, thank you! It's ages since I used my Tapatalk log in & it keeps spitting me out. Luckily my Websleuths & Twitter logins still work!
It's a civilised 6pm here in Queensland ... Could be a late night though!

We respectfully submit that the Court a quo only paid lip service to the fact that it took “all the evidence into consideration and that includes all the exhibits and all the submissions by counsel.” from states heads

ie. Masipa ignoring evidence agrees Steven Majiedt

As the AJA just said "irreconciliable"

Judge Majiedt suggesting Seekoei is no longer good law. It's a case from the 1990s and has been superseded by other cases #OscarPistorius

One of the Judges was most impressed with Mangena, as we all were. The judge said he was an excellent witness and was never challenged.

Nel is doing really well so far IMO.
