P.I. Says He Videotaped Area Where Caylee Was Later Found #2

IMO the simplest explanations are the most accurate. Good example: All the exotic thinking and looking for Caylee near the airport and pings etc. This MOTY is not bright at all. Neither are many of the people who've worked with any of the A's. JB is in over his head, (OH I SO HOPE AND PRAY HE STAYS ON AS LEAD CHAIR).
OK back to DC and JH, was it not the end of Oct. or early November that the tips were released per JB's request?
It didn't take a rocket scientist to see that there were 3 leads from the MR who was not only persistent, but was saying there was something strange in an area that KC was very familiar with.
I believe one or the other had knowledge that the other was going there, not sure which one. Too strange that they both wound up there the same day, same hour !!
They got their tip from the public release of tip info. They sifted through the 5,000 or so tips and came to the conclusion, Caylee probably was there.
JH has a tape but it is a few ft. from the actual remains. LP did say this, and to those of you who don't trust LP, this is one time I think he's right as he claims to have seen part of the tape.

If JH didn't film every inch and underneath thick brush, his tape is moot.
ETA, I do have reservations of Caylee's body being moved. It's a good possibility it was.

I wonder if someone else is already giving JB legal advice.He's being awfully quiet about all this and that's not like him.He usually comes out and says something to make the case 10 times worse.

Just like lawyers can easily find doctors to tell accident victims how to pretend about injuries I'm sure it's not hard to find disreputable people to work with on other things.

When he was on Geraldo, he said it wasn't the same Scott Peterson writing to KC, the SP that was writing was from a San Diego address. Well I had a good laugh at that one. SP is from San Diego, so happens he's at San Quentin right now for life, but he can still put his San Diego address on his mail.

I agree with a lot of what you say. To imagine that LA or anyone else in the family tried to get the PI's to move the remains or tamper with evidence is a fantasy... something for a novel... not real life.

But, the above in bold... don't forget DC is saying JH came up behind him with the video camera, uninvited.

Isn't almost everything about this case "fantasy" eligible ? Many times, it looks like an elaborate hoax, out-of control reality show, or off-beat soap opera (Dark Shadows, Passions, etc). The real tragedy of this little girl's death is almost lost in the twists and turns of the subsequent cover-up.

The real tragedy of this little girl's death is almost lost in the twists and turns of the subsequent cover-up.

I agree 100%. Anything and everything is possible when it comes to this case. I'm not convinced that logic and reason apply when you are dealing with someone who has intentionally or accidentally comitted murder. The real details, the actual pieces that form the puzzle have yet to be laid out in front of the public. Much of what people think they know about this case is their own extrapolation from pictures and video. Much of what the media reports are their own conclusions or come from "leaks." Very little has actually come from LE themselves. One thing that I am sure of is that this case will probably take many more unexpected and bizarre turns.

Ok.. question Here.. as JB didnt get all the tips nor did the public. Has anyone found the calls from the MR in the docs that were dumped.. I know that JB didnt ever pick up the second set of tips as he didnt want to pay for them.

So to me.. If the PI's got the tip from the tips released (if they were actually in that release) why would he not say that.. It sure makes alot more sense than saying he was checking for beer bottle empties and such.
This whole thing is just odd.

NO- listen- he searched in Blanchard Park from the 7th- 14th- the phone call to LP from the P.I. came on the 15th - so it was AFTER the Blanchard park search- I think this is the biggest turn in this whole case so far- if he knew, why didnt he tell LE? they just let her lay there in the woods? Leonard, bastion of propriety that he is, went to Cali after asking people to vote on the internet, and see whether he should "sell" his furthur searches to a particular unnamed media, right? He planned to CONTINUE to search in the park because Casey said "blanchard park" so many times in her interviews with LE that it had to mean Caylee's body was there. (According to LP)

There is no way on God's earth that Leonard Padilla thought he had a chance to stick it to the Anthony's, get loads of free publicity and become USA Hero #1 by going to 'get' Caylee and PASSING THAT UP.

FBI and Nick Savage are backing up that Leonard told them the PI had "found" Caylee? And had video taped it? And LE just forgot to check it out? Not only does this not answer half my questions, it adds a million more!

That's what PI Dominic C's says. He also claims he told PI Hoover that filming was "inappropriate." Since DC claims he was only there to check out the teen hangout place, that doesn't make sense. There is nothing inappropriate about filming a teen hangout place. Looks like Dominic may have some credibility issues in the near future.

I'm not getting why every one is interpreting the PI's statement to mean it is inappropriate to FILM. Could he not have been saying "It is inappropriate to sneak up on me, UNINVITED, as I conduct an investigation?" That's how I interpret his remarks.

I am definitely not debating as a devil's advocate! LOL

For me, it is as simple as not believing a word from the A fam camp/defense team and believing what the meter guy says.

But, WHY? Why does one just automatically accept the meter reader's story? I can understand how some would take a large grain of salt with any statement coming from Casey, the Anthony's, the defense team, LP and others who have spoken and mis-spoken over and over, but I can't see that it carries over that we just blindly accept the Meter Reader without vetting him. His story IS odd.

LE may not be worried about him. But LE is the same entity that locals have told me have screwed up cases and evidence time after time. What if this is another screw up?

Does anyone think that the tape may be the reason why LE asled LP to take a lie detector test? Could he have gone to LE with information about the PI's knowing where Caylee was?
