I wonder if your son would have been such a great dad if he would
have had a child when he was addicted 5 years ago?
I doubt it!

And I would almost bet money that had he had a child when he had his
addiction you would not want him to take off with the child!

But guess what.... you wouldn't have been able to stop him!

I don't need you to talk to me about courage by doing the right thing!
Trust me!

My point is that there was not ONE thing the Anthony's could do to keep
Caylee safe!

Casey was her mother!
She had custody!
You can't MAKE adults do anything!
And there has not been ONE thing mentioned in this case that
proves abuse bad enough to have CPS take her away from Casey!

No matter how sad it is that Caylee had to be around
her mom's life style.....it's not against the law to be a bad mom!
And it takes ALOT for a parent to get custody taken away!

I didn't think my daughter would either!
But she changed when she became a drug addict!

I respectfully disagree.Children's services are different in each state. Also the Anthony's were the ones supporting Caylee. They could have asked for a temporary order that most likely would have been granted. Then a trial for legal custody.Casy would have to take drug tests, get a job[and prove it] and have a stable place to live in order to regain custody.
We were foster parents for 20 years and got caught up in this scenario between grandparents and bio parents many times.Grands always won due to stability.Caylee had been living with them since birth .
Of course the Anthony's didn't know any of this and may have assumed Casy had all the rights, but in most states grandparents who support their grandchildren can get these rights. That doesn't mean the bio parents rights are terminated,it just gives grandparents temporary custody. The point is,it doesn't appear they even tried.

Is this the PI video thread?

Snip:

"The private investigator who works with the Anthonys told Eyewitness News he came to the area the month before Caylee's remains were found and videotaped the area. He says the tape shows Caylee's body was not there at that time, but now investigators want to know why he was there with a camera in mid-November."

From what I've seen in those pictures, that bag was buried in vine growth- there is no way it was placed there within a month. By October the growth in the woods is becoming dormant and dying.

In fact, in the weeks prior to December 11 I would imagine that area was more lush and green since it was before the cold snaps started- the bag was so very well hidden in that undergrowth I can't believe anyone can definitively say that it was not in that spot unless that specific spot was taped.

And if it was, it shows a setup.

Pirate, perfectly stated! Everything you said makes the most sense.

Is this the PI video thread?

I was wondering if I was on the right page had to go back in look.

Maybe a thread should be start on personal stories that relate to story like the Anthonys. I could post my story there.

I really think you need to go back and listen to the tapes from when the meter reader called in! His first 2 calls he could not even give a good location other than the swamp on Suburban. On his first call he gave the intersection as Goodspring RD... NOT Hopespring. His call on August 13 was a follow up call to inform them he was at the location and available to meet the officer...NOT detective.
OCSO has nothing to be embarassed about they went out on 2 calls without even an exact location and no accurate description of the location other than right by Caylee's house. Perhaps they could have done a better job on August 13 when they went out but I am sure they were wasting many many hours chasing down all the false and misleading information from KC and the Anthony family...which is why they are all facing charges! Can't wait to see them all in handcuffs!

The meter man saw the bag in August. Therefore, he knew exactly where it was?

The central question is: How could he see what LE could not find even though he was there to point it out to them?

I have not read the whole thread so forgive me if this point has been made.

Meter Reader saw the bag in August
PI filming didn't see the bag in November
Meter Reader found the bag in December

How can the defense use this to their advantage? It can't be there one month, gone the next and back again unless someone is moving the bag back and forth which makes as much sense as everything else in this case.

I thought the Private Investigator was HIRED to "investigate the kidnapping" and "find a live Caylee." If he was HIRED, with what monies did he receive his pay? The Find Caylee Foundation? The Missing Kids Org? How many PI's do you know who work pro bono? If his pay came from the FindCaylee Foundation/Missing Kids, this could be fraud, if he in fact was looking for a dead Caylee

if he saw the bag and he thought it was her, and there was a 50,000 reward to find the remains, WHY WHY WHY did he not go and look in the darn bag?

he was also supposed to be checking out those "live" sightings as well...

Thank you for your summary. I am personally one of those who was deemed hopeless. There is always hope. I got better when everyone else stopped enabling me.

I now work in addiction/recovery and I have learned FIRST HAND and personal experience that addicts are the most cunning, baffling creatures out there and there is not one thing you can do control the situation and I recommend tough love/no enabling. HOWEVER if there is a childs or anyone's safety involved you do WHATEVER to protect someone physically. I don't believe KC was an addict- just a sick sociopath but the same idea applies. I am not fans of the Ant's. They are still perpetuating this, enabling KC still! But it takes professional help to work through these things. CA was seeing a counselor before all this happened. Apparently it was too little too late. But the way the Ants are acting can be summed up and would be similar too the loved ones of a addict refusing to believe they are an addict, even after that addict has entered rehab.

Well said.

Cunning, baffling and powerful!

you want to live by the video camera then you must accept you will die by the video camera

dont forget the " incredulous high five " between brother and sister

for some strange reason:rolleyes: i find it revolting that people that are interested in finding a 2 year old girl would high five each other

ohhhhhhhhhh sure, if the baby was found alive and they were both congratulating each other on a job well done in a suceesful search then i could understand it but in this situation it was bot only weird i found it FREAKY

almost like "mission accomplished i was able to get rid of certain evidence
dont worry its all taken care of "
:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

moooo
moooooooooooooooooooo
MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO:crazy:

I just listened to 8/12 again and he didn't mention a bag..he mentioned something "round and white"
^i^

I would be so grateful if you could find the 8/12/08 phone call where Roy K says the color of the bag. This has bothered me since I first heard the phone call.

ok.. I dont know if this has been mentioned in the thread, as ive not had time to read the whole thing.. but.. after the remains were found and that lady came forward with a video wasnt it stated(by a neighbor) that that area had lots of water till about 2 weeks before the body was found.. and that the lady's (she I believe was one of the blondes from the park fiasco)video was wrong.. and she was somewhat tied to the A's... now this guy tied to the A's has a video.. ODDDD matter of fact this is way past odd..

Just when you don't think things can possibly get any stranger with this case, they do! :bang: When the meter reader first came forward at the press conference, his lawyer said they would be releasing more information about his experience in August and in December. I think now would be a great time for him to come forward and clear some of these questions up. This new development with a video of the area is going to be like gasoline on a wildfire for the defense.

He did (in December).

I honestly think she was moved around and rebagged in the process. I still think one of the sightings from the lady that thought it was her friend's car or the P Kovach who took the reporters to the railrod track scene also saw a KC, if not moving or dumping, then looking and canvassing a new area.

There's been movement of this poor little Caylee, who it seems is a dollar sign only to most. They should all be behind bars and burn in h#l* :furious:

He couldn't collect it anyway as he's a County employee. He was supposedly trying to be a good citizen. I can't tell who is pro and who is anti anymore.
