Very true! And I dont' mean to be distasteful but at this point.. with how warm it has been here.. if she was in fact out there wouldn't anyone just walking in the vicinity smell it....I've heard there's nothing like it. It's just been a lot warmer temperatures so I'd imagine.. without having any personal knowledge of it..(besides deer season)...that it would be detective to someone walking by...Just a thought. So if they couldn't have all the man hours perhaps bring in a search party and walk it..before all this snow we're supposed to be getting.
Everything that I have heard indicates that the odour is enough of a trigger to get people calling authorities and knowing something is very wrong, even when they don't know what the odour is.
The snow is something that's been playing on my mind too. If Holly is deceased outdoors somewhere, time is running out. Once the snows come, any searches will have to wait until Spring thaws.
