This is not looking good. I wonder if this harassment extended to stalking? Could someone have been watching long enough to realise her new place of employment didn't have cameras? Perhaps they found a way to lure her outside, she went outside as part of her duties (emptying rubbish bins?), or went back to her car to get something, leaving an opportunity to take her against her will, or to lure her into a car. Perhaps this harassment actually came from somebody she knew without realising it, so willingly got into a car of an acquaintance? Perhaps she left the premises willingly during a meal break but things went awry with whatever she was doing during that time. I wonder if she usually took her break in a staff room, her car, or maybe there was a nearby place open 24/7 that she would go to for food or drink? I'm not American and unsure about your work rules. How long would she typically get for her main break during a shift like this?

EDIT: I just read the latest news report and it appears she left early into her shift so likely not related to a meal break.
if some one were going to accost her, easiest times, I think, would be her arrival or if she went outside, but not sure why she would go outside again after arriving- would she have been called under some pretense? Curious if she was taking a meal from home- 8 hr shift, so typically two short breaks and a meal about 4 hrs in though I am not sure how regimented things are in a nursing home over night.

It sounds like the sighting of her leaving is confirmed or assumed to be correct... but I keep thinking of the ivy league student who was killed and hidden in a crawl space in the mouse research room at her lab. I hope they are indeed certain she left and also did not return, or have searched every nook and cranny in that nursing home.

Whilst the facility she works at doesn't look huge, and therefore not a lot of staff, perhaps it's somewhat busy at the start of her shift with staff coming and going?

I'm now wondering in what time frame Kada was receiving those harassing calls.
Did they begin before or after she began working at this facility 2 weeks ago?
Do we know?
The only thing we've heard is "in the days leading up to her disappearance". To me that implies after she started working at The Terrace, but it's not really specific. And, it doesn't sound as if any of her friends or family know the specifics regarding the harassment. Why didn't she share more? Was it simply because it was generic threatening comments?

Maybe she was seen leaving with someone and had previously planned walking at Awburh. I wonder what else could have lead LE there. This is so sad. I’m glad LE is investigating this seriously

regarding her “leaving work shortly after her shift started” if there are no cameras, how was this determined? A coworker told police? What reason would she give for leaving so soon after arriving? Was she a smoker and going out for just a few minutes? Did she say she left something in her car? I got a ton of questions yall. I’m sure police know more but “left shortly after starting her shift” is so painfully vague

I also haven’t seen any mention of a purse and if that was located somewhere in the facility or her car or if it’s unaccounted for as well

I keep thinking that the facts are she was last seen at 10:40 and she wasn't seen after. This doesn't mean anyone saw her actually leave, just that she was not there sometime after 10:40 and someone expected to see her. If someone did "see her leave", that would be my suspect #1.

At the 40 minute mark, she could have taken trash out, gone back out to her car to grab something, or stepped outside for some air. If she were wanting to get away from it all, could have gone somewhere with someone else or ubered away (hope they checked Uber type rides). With the phone going dark so fast, I only see kidnapping or escape from her life unless it went battery dead ( like not charged). That alone is a red flag. That the newest reports say she did not go voluntarily makes me wonder why they seem to know that.

Worrisome. Very much so.

And perhaps she did leave behind something - maybe her meal - which indicates she didn't intend to leave entirely. Why would she step out of the building at all is a mystery. Or, perhaps the menance was IN the building, as others have suspected.

OK, I hadn't seen this video when I made my last post. The posters that the family are putting up say that she was last seen at 10:40pm (her shift started at 10:00) and she was wearing a black "jogging outfit", which I presume was her work wear rather than formal scrubs?

I'd love to know if there was a y staff member that hoovered around the nursing home after finishing the day shift.
