How scary and sad that old school looks.

I really hope she didn't suffer long.

I can't explain why but this case is really bothering me. Needing to get off early tonight.

RIP dear Kada
I think many of us were rooting for Kada, hoping against odds for a good outcome, even despite our collective experience with how these situations usually go. It's completely UNFAIR what happened to a bright, promising, beloved young woman who was simply at work.

I’m glad she has been found. Although the outcome is not what we were hoping for at least her family now knows. It’s absolute hell not knowing.

A vibrant young woman with hopes and dreams. A woman with a bright future. Taken by an absolute demented loser.

It makes me sick to learn her last moments were with this guy.

I do wonder how they met. Were they in a relationship?

It’s always so senseless, what was gained by taking Kada’s life? I’ll never understand why this continues to happen, or better yet how we can prevent it - when the legal system continues to let dangerous predators back out on the streets.

It seems like we simply can’t initiate change, the perpetrators have more rights/legal protections than victims and potential future victims.

Leaves victims at risk. Emboldens abusers. How demoralizing for LE too. They arrest them,  Lady Lazy Justice lets them go.

The world don't be a safe place unless women can go for a run, go to work, go home and leave home unmolested. Continues gets the presumption of innocence but it shouldn't come at the wholesale neglect of victims' safety.
