I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't that. Strangulation, blunt force, the sad usuals.

Gunshot. To the head. That's not what I think of when I think of intimate partner violence. This seems like an execution. What in the world? Stealing a car, ingratiating her somehow (at least into text/call communication), then this?

What was his motive??????

That poor girl. Terrifying.

He burned the car, maybe that was the crime scene.

Wicked.

Well he can't argue it was an accident!

Does it sound to anyone else like someone else picked her up in the SUV and brought her to King in the Stolen Hyundai?

Didn't one of Keon's text say it was a new phone and it was Kel?

Is this a kind of catfishing? Where Kada didn't even know who all she was communicating with? Two individuals who she thought was only one person, and the person she left with didn't feel unsafe?

Actually now that I think about it, the workmate saw her last going toward the SUV, I don't think they necessarily saw her get in it. Maybe the stolen car was obscured by the SUV so she was actually approaching the car she left in.

Just thinking out loud.

So before Kada’s cause of death was announced I was thinking from some of Keon’s charges that perhaps he got Kada in the car by showing her a gun, sort of get in or I’ll use it. Even after having that thought seeing her cause of death was also a shock, I too thought strangulation or being hit on the head. I hadn’t thought about the gun being used as the actual weapon.
I know most of us would get in a car if someone was waving a gun at us as a threat.
All moo and musings.

I expected SA to be featured in the post mortem, seems more and more like an execution.

Kada was according to family or a friend receiving upsetting phone calls prior and was seen upset prior to leaving her workplace .

Without context to keon and Kada's prior interaction via text messages . It would appear at least in the days running up to her murder that threats of some kind were being made if we put the phonecalls and the manner of her death together .

Did she get embroiled in something she thought was a game . Had she promised access to the medicinal dispensary in the assisted living home as part of this precieved game. Kind of like a role-playing situation in her mind.

From text messages between the two , it would seem at least kada felt it was pretend by her almost in jest text about kidnapping her . Was their whole conversation based on this type of banter , but kada was the only one not in on the joke , when in reality keon was deadly serious. It would appear he was absolutely serious when he stated " you better bring it " or words to that effect . So what was it she was suppose to bring , drugs , sex ,money ??

In the days running up to her murder had she been upset and prehaps frightened by the realisation that this wasn't a game it was reality . Had it finally dawned on her that she had involved herself with dangerous individuals whom where now becoming more menacing when she wasn't actually going to engage in illegal activities. And rather than them risk her turning them in to LE ,they murdered her rather than risk exposure ?

did she offer them money in exchange for keeping her alive and that's why her bank card and belongings were found discarded separate from her body .?

The words he used were "better be up, to" (too?). To me that means "You'd better be ready" or "You better be willing/available".

I'll take a vowel for $500.

This video includes images of the actual affidavit which was helpful for me to understand the timeline. I hadn’t seen the affidavit itself until this video

(respectfully snipped)
Totally agreed on this. Speculating, the "up too" might be (from what I can see online) better be in on it, as @Ghostwheel noted, ready for it-- whatever the "it" might be. She then gets a better idea of what the "it" is, can't believe he's calling her at work about this s---, so she is not pleased with the "it," and the "it" has come out of left field. She is now at her workplace, where she doesn't want "it" discussed (jmo likely understandable), Goes outside.

100% agreed the "kidnap me again" is likely flippant and sarcastic, and (speculating) he probably was becoming increasingly enraged but cloaked it enough where he'd get his chance to act. When she didn't bring "it," wasn't interested in "it," he turned on her in the isolated space between them he'd created. The space was likely created by brandishing a weapon (or threatening to do so at too close a range for her to turn back), and it was a gun.

There's something up with the new phone & "Kel," agreed, and there's all the talk of accomplices in MSM. My understanding is there are more texts than those we've seen (anyone know, is that correct?), and once we get all the texts, am hoping we'll be in a position to better know what happened. It's mortifying.

I would imagine there are more texts also…what has been released can’t be all of that exchange imo

Cannot summarize, all information is relevant

I am shocked

Hints of premeditation:

Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel told residents at a community meeting in East Mount Airy that the investigation is far from over.

"We continue to pursue anyone who helped, who concealed, who participated in this act," said Bethel.

At 11:39 p.m. on October 5, court records say King's registered Toyota Camry was caught on surveillance parking at the recreation center next door to where Scott's body was found.

It says two people exited the vehicle, and four hours later, two individuals appear to take a large object, consistent with a body, out of the passenger side.

That evening, Scott was kidnapped, allegedly by King, from her workplace in Northeast Philly and, under an hour later, police believe, she was dead.

In the hours and days after her slaying, court documents claim King and at least one other person repeatedly visited the vacant Ada H. Lewis Middle School on the 6100 block of Ardleigh Street where Scott's body was eventually discovered.
